Hi, and thanks for this video. I'm new to all this embroidery world lol. Someone recommendd I download the free version of Embrilliance and I did, but couldn't intall the font when I dragged it into the window like what you did. Is it because it's the free version of the Embrilliance software?
Now why would you have to add a serial number everytime you open embrilliance and to Add BX files. But I watched the video and it didn't work for me either. i did write to Embrilliance and this is the video they told me to watch. I get a message that the BX fonts were installed but they're not!!!
I bought a BX font set from Designs by JuJu with 6 sizes and when I dragged the 6 BX files in, it only put the first one in. The remaining 5 are not in and won't go in nor did it prompt me to put them in like your video showed it should have. When I try to drag them in I have a black circle with a black line through it on my Essentials screen. Any suggestions as to what is going wrong? I didn't use the free version (didn't know it existed) JuJu offers. I bought Embrilliance Essentials software. I have a screenshot and wish there was a way to show you. Everything was very easy to understand and follow until things didn't work as they were supposed to. Just am stuck now.

Once i buy a monogram that comes with the BX file, do I unzip it to my computer first the send that unzipped file to my USB stick? If so then how would I get all the sizes of the monogram into embrilliance? Any help is appreciated! 💖

The way I understand it is that the BX format is for anything related to lettering such as a new font, applique alphabet, or monogram. BX files allow you to type the letters and words right on the design page rather than open them one letter at a time from another format. What a time saver!! "Picture" designs, such as a snowman, flames, word art, etc., do not. Go to her sight, open your account, go to ORDERS and download again, if necessary. You will see the list of FORMATS including BX (for fonts, applique alphabets, monograms and similar). Formats for brands of machines are also listed such as PES for Babylock and Brother.. I choose ALL FORMATS even though I only want PES and BX. You can always delete the others later on your computer. OR you can download just BX, then go back and choose the format for your machine. If a BX file is included in her designs, she will list it in the page where you went to purchase the design. Each design (font, filled design, etc.) must be downloaded separately. On a PC I choose the Save As function. You can then find the design in Windows Explorer. On my Mac they go right to my DOWNLOADS which I can access from the tool bar at the bottom or by using FINDER. I'm sure this is true for all designers. I'm mostly familiar with DBJJ.
Can all the new BX files be dropped in at once by going to EDIT and then Open Library Folder then drop all the unzipped ones selected into the Library?
Thank you for this. I have installed it properly on my MAC. However, when I connect to my Brother SE400 and transfer the .pes file, I don't see anything on my Brother to embroider. I see the space it is taking up but not the file to choose and save. It's frustrating not being able to speak to someone. I spent an hour on the phone with Brother but it is working as designed. I'm at a loss as to why I can't use them.

I used a trial express, then bought the Essentials. I don't like one of the fonts I had put into the express. When the got the Essentials that font is still there. How do I delete fonts?
How do you navigate the fonts??? I went to the manual and it said to type the first few letters of the font you want in your software and it will go there, where do you type??? I can't get it to work for me. I have enthusiast and essentials...

im using stitchArtist 1, i tried dragging them to the open software and get the window there installed. But they dont show up in the fonts. I tried dragging the files over the embrilliance icon, got a different window saying there installed. they still dont show up in the fonts list. What gives?
No because most likely they are simply design files that happen to look like letters - they aren’t a “font” which would be an installation file containing mapped designs set up to work as a keyboard font. To create a keyboard font from alphabet designs would done with AlphaTricks.

Is it necessary to hand multiple sizes of fonts since embrilliance is so good about resizing?

My question - I currently have Embrilliance Express, when I purchase the Embrilliance module, will it override the Express or do I need to delete it?

@@lauramartin2919 Make sure you're using the UNzipped BX files. Just drag the unzipped file into Embrilliance. That's what I was doing wrong.

No but they can be installed at once by dropping them onto the program as shown in this video.
