What an awesome explore! The fountain is beautiful and the trolley station is so cool. Beautiful area where the jetty is located. It's too bad the water isn't clean, the beach looks so sandy and inviting. What a great place to go hiking, love that old fire hydrant you found and I can't believe the faucet handles still turn, how cool is that! Beautiful landscape and it was so interesting seeing the abandoned power building. Really great video JP, thank you so much!
Wow ! great find ...love the abandoned power house for the trolley line . Lots of beautiful scenery , especially enjoyed the jetty . Really like the music you chose for the photo montage ...another fun video . ( I know your arm must get tired holding the camera so long . Thank you for making the effort to bring us great footage ).
JP, you have such a nice narration voice. Nice tone and temperament to your voice. It's like a PBS documentary. 😂👍 The humor though......."J, stop! Look over there!" 😂😂
Some “end of line” parks were owned by trolley companies as added business-people could ride the trolley to the park instead of to work and the business from the park customers provided that for the trolley company, too. The rides did run from trolley car power supplies. At Glen Echo Amusement park they had an extra motor mount in their carousel that ran off the trolley supply. Later the motor was replaced with one that ran from commercial power. The areas in the building floor could have been from Norberg diesel radial engine equipped generators-stood vertical. These are rare now.
I love this adventure 😍 This is one of my favorite kind!!! I love the photo montage 😍 Awesome as always!!! Thank you for letting me tag along on this adventure!!! Take care and be safe always!!! God bless you Jay!!!
I find these abandoned places are somewhat sad, but still interesting to watch you explore. I can't do the exploring myself anymore, so really enjoy catching yours. Thanks, JPVideos.
I agree with you, the amusement park was a little disappointing. I like to see decay, better to imagine how it looked. Walking up to that building, I thought it looked like an abandoned mansion. That building was cool!! Thanks for the hike!!! 💖💙💖💙💖💙💖💙
What a peaceful area.. great birds.. happy that the state is using and the place is not just sitting there in decay… lovely scenery. Very old fire hydrant…. Pretty cool.. bldg is amazingly in good shape.. good explore
I loved the journey today 👍🏻. I especially like hearing the birds, the water lapping and even shoes crunching on the gravel. The park is beautiful but finding the power house and trolly was great. Yes to a winter trip. 🙂
What a cool place 😎👌🥰👍👍 Even if all you can find of the former fun park is the old trolley line and power station it's still nice 👍👌😉 I'd go just for the scenery and to check out the restaurant 😀 I'm curious to see what it would look like in the fall and winter 🤔👀 you might actually be able to find more remnants of the old fun park 😉😀 Thanks for another great video and an excellent adventure 😀😊👍 Glad we got to tag along with y'all !❤ As always Blessed be and stay safe 🙏❤
You should come up to the Adirondacks, abandoned stuff everywhere and maybe even some amusement parks. I know there are plenty of abandoned ones and maybe even some that haven't been rediscovered.
Great video JP! I'm going to call this year the year of fountains! Thanks for digging up all this great stuff and sharing it with us! A visit in the winter would be great!
Just a Great setting out on the jetty. Really liked the hydrant find and the Power House was very very awesome!! 30:00 the money shot!! Appreciate your filing, editing and music so GOOD!! 🔥🔥🔥
Loved the video like all of them. From a little girl on up I could not really enjoy amusement parks cuz I got motion sickness real bad and if I took Dramamine I was like a zombie so my parents did not plan those type outings. When I got to jr high and high school I went try to act like I was down and threw up a few different times to the dismay of my friends and had to go lay in car after turning green while they went off to enjoy the day. Once I had kids I had to find someone else to take them to the fair or at least go with us so that they could ride with a grown up. I cannot even look at some of the rides on video it make my stomach churn. So no cruises for me and long car trips I sleep the entire time if not driving if I drive I do not get sick only as a passenger. God Bless your days.
Montage was absolutely amazing as always. What an incredible find. Water views were awesome. Is a shame water is so murky. Loved that old fire hydrant. Would have been cool to ride the trolley back in the day. Is cool now having the pavilion. That building was huge. It did look like an hotel entrance. Fascinating explore. Thanks so much for all you do for us❣🥰
Good Morning JP that penny wise art was really well done, I actually thought it was a big old house with front pillars we were both wrong lol but a pleasant surprise indeed, what an amazing scenic park loved it, the old fire hydrant was super cool to see., I look forward to a winters day return :)
Also love the music u play with your photos at the end. This one sort of remind of Spanish guitar. Sounded really good. Just all over good vibes on this video. Wish I had found you years ago and glad I found u when I did cuz I was about to give up on YT all but the sleep music LOL.
Hi from Toronto Canada. Really enjoyed your video. Seeing the old track and station was cool. Too bad we didn't see more of the park. Wonder where the roller coaster was. I'd like to see a winter explore. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
I needed a walk in the woods today so thanks! The best part was the fountain. I know it had to be beautiful in its day. Oh ,and that 1915 fire hydrant was incredible. The power station was HUGE! It will be there forever, I think.
I have a night of binge watching to do. I haven't been getting notifications for you until this one...come on u-tube get it right with all notifications...
Hi Jay what a nice little video and find for you. I bet it was a lovely park in its day. I was wondering how your friend Mikey was who were in your older videos. I do hope he's ok and safe. Thank you for such great explores Jay and stay safe you, your family and friends.
Hi, JPVideos. A great video that was and i like the adventure so much. I have watched a few of your videos and so amazing and incredible. What i like from your video is the photos you took in the end of the video. Wow so great. So beautiful. My kids love it very much. They said : Wow, Dad, that was so beautiful. Well done, JPVideos. Thanks for the video ya. God bless you, JPVideos. :-D
Have you ever gone to Point Lookout, Maryland ? It's supposed to be the most haunted place in southern Maryland. It was a prison for Confederate solders. There's a lighthouse and a park there. Very creepy, even during the day.
I was hoping the hydrant was a mueller hydrant. That would have been a sweet find right now. We have had a horrible tragedy here at, the fire hydrant capital of the world, Albertville Al at the Mueller Fire Hydrant plant. One of the men working there opened fire on 4 other mueller employees. All 4 men were shot. 2 died and 2 others are critical. They found the guy who did the shooting later in his vehicle in the next town. He apparently shot and killed himself. My son started working at Mueller when he was 18 and was there for many years. He got laid off about 9 yrs ago from there. I am thankful my son was not there...so very thankful...my heart pours out for these families who lost a loved one. Great video as always ✌
Another great video! 👍 I am curious about a busted up pier a little more than a half mile north of the jetty. Looks like it has a couple sunken ships at the end of it. I read that boats ferried visitors from Baltimore to Bay Shore Park back when it was open. Was this pier possibly the mooring point?
JP I'm screaming at ya. Lol!!!!! at the 18:56 mark way out there in front of you there is something big and blue. Maybe a trolly or vehicle/car to a ride.
Hey bud. I wish I knew your were there. Anyway, this is the fire you saw from north pt. A boat exploded rite across the creek from my house. Cant believe you captured that
Jay, Is that the Chesapeake Bay? IF it is, they have fantastic Blue Claw Crabs. Wouldn't it be nice of there were some movies of the Park when it was active? Cheers, Rik
You could have asked the park supervisor about your drone, my State Park allows drone flight. And according it's different frome state to state and city to city.
Thanks for sharing this Jp what a great place for the old AMusement park it atlease being use for sorry i have not been in your video lately been working 12 hours shifts.
Yes I really enjoyed this video !! I love history so cool very pretty area there as well !! That old power station was cool !! Amazing how the rails where still there. Shame about the graffiti 😠 but one big poured concrete building for sure those turbines would have been cool to see if they were there ..... I will admit the PennyWise was cool !! Yes come back in the winter if you can it would be cool !! Glad you are ok after falling !! Really enjoyed those pictures at the end so pretty !! 👍👍👍

Hope you enjoyed this adventure. Do you think a return in the winter should be done to see if we find more?
That would be very cool.
Yes I think so.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽💙💙💙
Yes it would be cool to go back & possibly find more of the park remains!!!
Y es, I think you will have greater access to possible evidence of amusement park rides in the Winter .
Yes if you do let me know so I can join you unless you'd rather do it solo
We always enjoy going along with you.
Glad to have you joining along

It’s crazy how much the trees have grown up around there and how different it looks.
Indeed. When you left a place unattended for decades, mother nature don't wait and claim it without asking lol
"Come along with me" yaaassssss! Another educational, informational JP video. I was surprised the fountain wasn't JUST a fountain.
What a great location. I like when cities/towns re-purpose places like this. Lots of exploring to be done, lol. Thanks for bringing me along.👊👍
Me too. Pretty good idea to repurpose the trolley station as a pavilion now.

very cool place to explore! Pratt and Cady hydrant 1916... my dad was born in 1917.
Nice to see that old power station, and where the turbines one sat. And the old fire hydrant, that was amazing to see that.
Beautiful State Park! That power company building was cool!
Love the old hydrant

I wonder if the track inside the generator building was to deliver coal for the generators. Cool video.
That's a possibility. I didnt consider that.

What powered the power station? If it was coal, could there be Train tracks?
I would assume coal, but I'm not too familiar with the area or operations.
