Sean is a very lucky man. The Charlie Slater from 2000-2005 would have straight up floored him in about 4 seconds. Even Grant and Phil knew better than to mess with Charlie in their prime.

It WAS November 2007 because I have vague recollections of this episode being not long after Bradley and Stacey's wedding - which was in late-October 2007. Plus, Charlie's wearing a poppy. I know they film episodes two months in advance, but Derek Martin would have been wearing it with the knowledge that the episode would be broadcast in November.
Shame hes not in eastenders Today in 2019. That's not what he was before. But in 2019 they should have made him like this supporting Jean and being there for Kat and Mo and stacey and Martin. And being angry with Phil saying if your mum could see you now
Sean only got away with being such a prick during his time on the show because all the other guys in the show at the same time were wimps except Phil and Jack, if he had been around at the same time as Dennis, Dan Sullivan or Grant he would have been slapped down

Amazing acting by both for awareness
Charlie was like Sean's second dad for a short time
They sort of remind me of male versions of pat and janine 😂😂😂😂😂
Always thought Sean was the male version of Janine.
Sean and Charlie were nowhere near as close though.
fair play to charlie standing up to sean. He was a selfish psychotic bully

Charlie with his big temper haha.
He had a bit beer belly. Temper not so much. He just wasn’t scared of Sean (who in turn was petrified of his mum on a low).
