My eight year old daughter, now nine, was once asked by a dental hygienist what she wanted to be when she grew up to which she replied: "I'm going to be a keeper at home!" My husband later told me about it and I had a huge smile on my face and my heart was beaming with joy!! I have five daughters and they are all being raised this way. And yes, JES is such a blessing!! I have been gleaning encouragement and inspiration from her for years! Her worth is far above rubies!!💗💝🎀🥰❤

Men also need those skills, as these are life skills. Life happens, and men might need to raise their kids alone. Women do need an education, as she may need to work for a bit. These aren’t gendered skills, but rather life skills. Everyone needs to eat and care for themselves.

@@LoriAlexander1980 I worked my own way through undergrad and graduate school. I enjoyed a long professional career and have been happily married for 32 years. We raised two great kids, who are now successful adults. I have retired with a generous pension and know that I can support myself should something happen to my husband. Young women are doing themselves a great disservice by thinking they can rely on a man to take care of them and support them indefinitely. Stuff happens and having an education or job training is vital. If you work hard in high school, you can earn scholarships for college expenses or other post-secondary education. Feminism advocates that society stops prioritizing the male point of view and treating women unjustly. Too bad you don't understand that.

I love my job, and I am able to give my children more than I ever had when I was their age. Now I do agree that college can be overrated and it isn't for everyone. College is not a requirement to be smart. I did go to college, I have a masters of fine arts. I freelance in commercial illustration. I have zero debit. I paid my tuition without loans because I’m well off. I don’t need to work but I do because I am damn good at my job. I pay someone to do the housework. I don’t want children. I live in 2021 and can do whatever I please. Does that make me wrong? Nope. Evil? Nope. Does it piss off a sky deity? Nope. I live my absolute best life. I’m not a feminist either but do believe in the reality that if someone wants to do something then they should go for it. Regardless of the contents of their pants. If a dude wants me to be a domestic serf then he can go elsewhere. Can’t wonder if the grass is greener if you never show other grass exists. Keep ‘em shackled to the stove and dumb so they don’t back talk. What a wonderful thing to teach children.

I am a true believer that if a woman wants to be a housewife, that’s fine and it is as admirable as going to college to get a degree.
It all depends on that woman’s interests and life goals.
The things is, you must find a partner who thinks like you. Someone who supports whatever you want to do. Because then comes the trouble, when the man wants to forbid his partner to work. So folks, please find someone who is on the same page as you.
