I’ve build my entire shop and my trailer based on your philosophy. I’m so thankful I found you early on in my business. You’ve helped me do a lot better work and make a lot more money.
Man, this is fantastic. Your 6-part crown series was a life changer! I've realized it's the efficiency that is in that series that is carried through to all you do including the SWS!
all your research and development and constant thought process and innovation has helped us all do better with our own trailers and trucks.... you have much to be proud of... not just making things well for yourself, but for bettering thousands of other craftsmen....
Organization also helps keep track of your tools. At a glance you can see if one is missing. I can't tell you how many tools workmen have left at my house over the years...
This is amazing. You can tell right away that there's years of experience and thought that went in to this. Have you posted the trailer specs anywhere? GVWR and finished weight (loaded ready to work) at the scales? Also, how much do you have this insured for? How do you not have a coffee pot? ;)
Videos like this, give me inspiration. If I only had spare area larger than a 3 by 3 foot area. LoL Busting at the seams everywhere. I have crates and crates and bags with bags of things for digital decorating for the holidays. When Ihen I have my driveway redone, I believe I'm going to have it done double with, instead of the single width it is now. This would give me more outdoor room to work.
RON GREAT VIDEO I LOVE THE JOB TRAILER THE VERY FIRST SHOP I HAD WAS A TRAILER JUST LIKE YOURS AND I TOTALY LOVE THE ORGANATION THAT IS DEAD ON RIGHT UP MY ALLY .FROM DOUG
Thanks for the videos Ron, I watched them all and gleaned ideas for setting up my new trailer (5th generation and massive) we just got it on the road this last week and it's been a pleasure to work out of.
I love your ideas on everything and they way you solve problems or come up with solutions. I’ve built my small hobby shop around you bench’s and add ons and can’t thank you enough for the make the easy to use plans for us not so talented people… I’m about to start a build out for my Tacoma for overlanding. And I’m curious what your take on that would be and if interested what would you build. Goose gear has large set up that are $$ but seem like not the best use of space if ya ask me…. Would be a interesting video for ya is all I’m thinking and open you up to new viewers for sure. Any help or advice on this would be great. Big fan and super happy with my shop set up and thanks for teaching me to love my router and templates! 😂 Stay awesome !!
@@mike93lx Hey Michael, Thanks for the reply! In the video, he did mention "scalability" and gave an example of adjusting the length of the units. My concern is more about width adjustments. I don't want an isle that is two narrow to be functional. I've purchased the plans regardless because his system is superb. If you have knowledge of width scalability, I'd appreciate any help. Thanks. Have a great day!
Ron I'm curious about the aluminum trailer company have they ever sponsored a video or a discount to your subscribers? Lord knows you've sold there product with passion and detail. Just curious? w.w./Oklahoma
Hey Ron, Do you have a solution for storing caulking in your trailer? I have seen different options in a few different trailers and videos but have never noticed any caulking/ silicone/ adhesives in any of your drawers or shelves in your tours.
Wow! If I'd seen this a few decades ago... Now, all of my benches seem obsolete. If those were for sale they'd fetch a high price. Would it be a good idea to patent this system?
Hi Ron, what happened to the metal mechanic tool chests? Im looking to build a Ron Paulk inspired mobile woodshop. Do you recommend an aluminum frame v nose trailer by Mission? Im looking at 7'x 12'. Do you have any tip like Should i have them install a custom floor like you did or add add electrical?
I have those in my work trailer, they do not slide as easily as with slides, but take it from someone who is on his 5th work trailer, you don't want slides on your drawers as you will have to come up with a way to lock them before you roll every time or you need to get locking drawer slides which would add up to costing more than your trailer.

Ron, I went to buy your trailer plans as I plan to use your drawer system for my workshop cabinet build. I see you have two trailer plans-- small and large trailer. Do both these plans have the identical features or is one plan a more recent revision of your system? I just want to make sure I am buying the plans with the latest revisions. Thanks, Jim
Jim, the latest version for cabinets is the Smart Woodshop Plans. I have tried to take down the Art plans, but the demand is still there. stores.modularmarket.com/paulk_homes/smart-woodshop-plans-small-mobile-awesome-rolling-toolbox-designed-for-an-8x12-trailer-p13.php
Great system - this kind of man once made America great..... hard working - straight thinking - problem solving... innovative - engaging - work happy............ its time America put the Ron Paulk mentality instead of the Bill Gates irrationality first and foremost.
Hello Ron, I discovered you on The Tube when you were indeed building The Smart Workshop. I ate up all you showed and couldn't wait for the next installment. After this, and for me, you seemed to lose your way, stopped doing what you did best, designing and building really clever stuff. All that travelling around with your wife, visiting different wood shops etc just lost my interest totally. Please stay with what you do best and build stuff. Speaking only for me, I'll come back and start liking your stuff again 👍

It was nice meeting to you today. Looking forward in building a shelf system for my 4RUNNER
You and your team did a great job removing all of the tile in our home. Go Dustless Tile removal.😎🤙

I love the smart design! Can it be scaled to a narrower width trailer? I have a 7x14.
He answered that right in the video...

@@williamgarrett1800 to be honest, if you can build something like this, even from plans, making adjustments should be within your wheelhouse
Start from the left side, then adjust the right side accordingly. You’ll likely be giving up the aspects in the right most foot.
Its certainly within my wheelhouse... just wondering if he had some "short cuts". Thanks for ALL the help Mikey!

I have not had sponsorship from any trailer company.

Ron what kind of trailer do you have?
This is amazing
Goals! 🎉
Any info on how you did the drawers? Interested in making a similar set up
I saw it in the playlist.
Hi Ron
Do you leave the ply raw or coat it / sesl it? Love the videos.
Thanks Wade
I don't add any finish😎🤙
Do you have a video on how to make those drawers?

Do the drawers really slide as well as if you used slides?

They don't. But that's actually kinda the point - and they slide well enough to be used
Are there plans for the drawer system?
I saw it in the playlist.
Thanks Ron! What size is that trailer?
Six sigma
Lean Process Mapping
Standardization (McDonald Brother)
