Nigeria is a secret gem to be discovered. It will be a great paradise for black people because of the numerous cultures within that Country. The government and Nigeria people are realizing it now and they are trying to improve the Country. There is opportunity to build wealth in Nigeria than any other place in the world.

We had a great great time in Nigeria it is a wonderful country and the people are amazing (despite all the negative headlines)As a family we cannot wait to get back there to experience more of what Nigeria has to offer. Our trip was most certainly enhanced by our host, who made our stay comfortable, educational, culturally enriching and so much fun. We are delighted that they have decided to provide tours as they are the ideal persons/family to do so. Personally I would not hesitate in reaching out to Deji and Ade Tucumbo, as they will ensure you have a fantastic time and provide an all rounded viewpoint of Nigeria. Thank you Deji, Ade Tucumbo and Abisola for being such great host and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Nice video. It always saddens me when its mostly Nigerians giving their own country bad PR. Despite the inadequacies we have, there are lots and lots of positives. No country is perfect or heaven. I wish government can step in and start reorientation of its citizens bc no good child points to his father's house with an condescending 'left hand'. No matter what, we should be proud of where we come from bc no one will fix it for us.

Majority of Nigerians who live abroad are the ones who are afraid of their country and discourage others from visiting the country. I live in North America, my husband and his siblings are from the Western part of Nigeria. They all migrated to Europe and North America as adults and they always talk negatively about Nigeria. Even their 80+ year old mother that is longing to go back to Nigeria is discouraged by them.
No one else can redeem the image of Nigeria except Nigerians themselves.

There is a propaganda out there about Nigerians and Nigeria to paint us black, they don’t say that France, the USA spend money to destabilise Nigeria and hijack it’s democracy to guarantee that the worse possible leaders rule Nigeria. They forget about the size who deliberately underdeveloped Nigeria to keep us down and designed it to fail.
They all fear Nigeria. They know that if we rise, Africa will rise. Break Nigeria apart destroy Africa and enslave them for a thousand years on their own soil while they take all of Africa’s natural resources. It’s why they say don’t go there because they were shocked that we turned out all right and produced citizens more intelligent than theirs in a genetic basis. They deliberately underdeveloped our country by targeting our people for the trans Atlantic slave trade more than anywhere else as we had more people in Africa. We faced near extinction and only 30 million Nigerians survived up to the run in to independence. Then the baby boom! Followed by an oil boom. And look at us today. Our success gives them cancer. And jealous and envious Africans who are the architects of the misfortunes of their own unborn generations join them for free to bring Nigeria down.
They will all fail. We will rise. Adversity and hardship sharpens and motivates us to succeed.

Whats termed as 'dangerous' is relative. Certainly, Nigeria is not they type of country you can go to like many other countries without having a contact there to take you around. You will get scammed definitely and the scamming starts from the airport and like most places you will be charged more because you are a tourist. People are friendly but again beware of people with ulterior motives and people trying to scam you. Traffic is usually very bad in Lagos, road works or not. Its worth noting that the standard of kiving portrayed in this video is only for a few richer people and most Nigerians do not live this way in Lagos.

What do you mean anti black. Stop that nonsense. Telling the truth about kidnapping a on northern Nigeria is not being anti black. Telling the truth about leaders continually stealing money and never doing anything for the people is not anti blackness. What is blackness? There’s nothing like that it’s foolishness. Culture in Africa differs from country to country even though we are black. They enjoyed their stay. If they live longer and have to get drivers license, passport and accessing govt services it’s another story. Visiting as a tourist is awesome and yes Nigeria has very good things but there are bad things as well. We love our country we don’t love what’s bad about it and must work for improvement.

As a Nigerian, if there are two things we lack as a people, as a race, is our lack of curiosity and our lack of adventurism!!
Which irks at times, we have our own strengths and talents, but exploration just isn't one of them!

Yes they do ask. I've been to Nigeria 5x since last year and I also frequent ghana. They ask in nigeria for money at airport but they don't pressure you. They just ask. They smile and joke n say give oga something na once their nice or about to stamp your passport..when they ask to search your bag customs n probably wont search it you day you dont have money lol...or do anything thats their job....or they try take your bags when you arrive and carry your bags n tell you you need to give them something..or if they show you to a terminal they ask to give them something but I tell everyone from my experience they are WORSE in ghana. Ghana will ask at immigration , the airport to the outside to every traffic stop by police especially outside accra going to volta region or anywhere!..Nigeria police doesnt do that. Some may ask rarely at a stop but they dont pressure or intimidate you to give $ like ghana. In ghana every official bldg...and I prefer ghana to nigeria on certain things like light stability and access to American foods n variety of restaurants and tourism spots but they are WORSE in ghana. Nigeria doesnt pressure you. They just ask at airport and you say you dont they push their mouth and walk away..lol...No one can tell me I travel both.
