Captain Tezuka never really got the chance to express his full strength because of his injury, and I always felt that he was the strongest middle schooler. It's great to see him now kick ass in the U17 World cup risk-free of injury.

Actually, it was very unrealistic starting from the match with Fudoumine. Burning holes in tennis rackets, blowing people into the stands, crazy spins, bullshit that is Tezuka Zone and Tezuka Phantom. Though I agree that it doesn't come close to burning tennis nets from friction, breaking windows and glass with air pressure, shaving away space to create black holes, and bringing down water tanks with tennis balls.
When tennis was not about sending people to hospitals or killing people. I still remember when Tezuka says that using tennis to hurt other people is unforgivable. Now Echizen changes his tennis style to killing style.

I really hate the change from normal Tennis to superpower tennis especially since the transition just felt so off... It didn't feel even a little grounded. Kuroko is a good example of superpower like sports done well. Prince of Tennis is an example of it done badly. Though, I still enjoyed it. The first arc was way better than the rest tho...

I started playing tennis because of this anime and Roger Federer. I would have no one to play with so I would play against a wall everyday growing up. Now I am 23 and I play tennis everyday, I can finally afford to buy the rackets and shoes I wanted when I was little. I want to play tennis competitively at a very high level. I won't give up...
This is one of those songs that's so good they should have just kept using it for the entire first season instead of changing it. It was so much better than every song that came after that. Honestly they could have used this song for the entire series and it would have been perfect.
