I built the the last Commodore HSV, basically by hand, ever. It was for Ryan Walkinshaw. And yes it was a ute, built to W1 spec in a special matt grey paint scheme. Interestingly, none of the W1 utes met ADR's and technically should not be allowed on the road. Ryan's car went to Europe.

That Torana tt36 and the Maloo ute I'd love in my garage. Beautiful beasties.
Yeah, they are pretty special cars. 👍
Cant forget the Holden Hurricane. I believe its in the national car museum as well as that protype Torona and the very last Holden ever built
Absolutely, it was a toss up between the Hurricane and the GTR-X. Last ever VF (not ZB) could also have made the list
That Torana, TT36 concept car is in the Trafalgar Holden Museum, Trafalgar, Victoria. 👍
@@allyboy8 oh wow, will have to check it out.

Wow, what a cool story! Thanks for commenting mate! 😎
I have loved Maloo's from the very first one. The VG wasn't the prettiest, but it only took a minute to fall in love.
@@Hellboy0513 I wouldn't mind a Maloo in my shed!
Cool list! HRT 427, last ever VF and Hurricane concept could have all made the list too.
Yes, there are so many amazing Holdens out there it was hard to choose! You could easily make a top 100 list!
@@ClunieGarage Do you want to do a special on the HRT-427.
@markbeasy1211 yes, we have that as an idea on our video backlog!
@@ClunieGarage Good to hear. I was the chassis development engineer. Do you had someway of contacting you.
Very nice video quality Fred! Is this the work of a Canon G7X?
Yes it is! And also Adobe Photoshop for the thumbnail and Premiere Rush for the editing! 🤓
The Holden Craptiva is getting pretty rare. Most have gone to the crusher!!!
Can't believe they are still on the road. Up there with Camira's. 😮
There are some folks out there that like the Craptiva's - we aren't one of them!
Definitely feel like the coupe 60 (ve manaro) was an awesome concept that never made it 🥹
Yep that would have been cool hey!
@ one of the few concept cars that’s actually really looked like it belonged at the top of the line up 🤩
There is one forerunner to the HX LE coupe, a prototype built in 75 by order of designer Leo Pruneau - still exists today.
Oh wow, we have never seen or heard of that one!
You forgot the V8 Monza. A one-off by HDT.
That would have been very special.
@@ClunieGarage I know a guy who has a black HDT Monza V8, not sure if it's a mock up, but it looks like the one Brocky built.
@@justonemorepan1082 I think Paul Wakeling holden campbelltown nsw had it
What about the SSX ??? very nice
Was that the AWD V8?
How about the Efijy?
That was an interesting concept hey - inspired by the iconic FJ.
That was a tribute not concept.
How bout the V8 lj torana GTR
Could have made the list for sure, imagine that little beast belting around the mountain! 😀
Or even the hsv coupe 4
@@Emanthemafia love the hsv coupe, nice choice
Was the Holden Monaro Old Man Emu a car that Holden actually built? Competition to the Falcon Superoo.
Hi Angry - was that the GTS350 Monaro?
number 4 looks very similar to a uk mk2 cavalier
@@B3llyFl0p ok, have never seen one of those.

That torana looks like my 6 year old son designed, it, no wonder it didn't make production, very very ugly
Not the prettiest in the world is it? It was 1970 after all.
