I do not have a deer antler issue, even though I have many deer here. What I do have is a rabbit problem. I generally only use a 9" to 12" drainage pipe to keep the rabbits disinterested.
I do have some new trees that I hope to take. I used tomato cages and chicken wire. The tomato cage should keep the deer from eating the top, and the chicken wire should keep the rabbits out.
