I just love how, of the last two notes played simultaneously, one is high and one is low, and I think it almost symbolizes Anakin's inner conflict between peace and anger. Anyway, that's just a thought I had.
*Darth Vader in death star pub leaning against piano* Vader: “idk man, she was like, the love of my life, ya know?” Pianist trooper: “I hear ya man, ...I hear ya” *Vader drops an imperial token in a small tip bowl, the music drowns on softly*

@@abcabc-oh9gc well I think there's a bit of fear in love. its not always clear to both if they even should be in love in the first place, and sometimes you've been hurt before so its a little bittersweet
"Have you heard the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker the chosen one?" Prequels were good, with lots of flaws, but good. Padme should have lived, but I know it had to follow the original trilogy.
@@lickylicky9232 not better than the originals, of course, but definitely better than the prequels, they have a better writing, and for a movie, the most important thing, is the writing
@@lickylicky9232 kkk, clearly you haven't seen the movies also dude, The Last Jedi is about Luke, and the surviving of the Resistence if you want more, but it's mainly about Luke, and how the new grows beyond the old. I very rarely comment on UA-cam, like never. But every single video you post is really enjoyable and this music is my favorite from star wars. Keep going! (also, several piano channels tends to forget that video quality is important, not only audio quality. So this is great to hear AND to see ;))
More near the end when a lot of notes(chords) keys were pressed and they were close, but you didn’t press them all at the same time, you went from left to right, almost as if you were strumming a guitar- I FELT THAT. LIKE. BRO. This is absolutely amazing. I love all the songs from the soundtracks, but this one always hit different. Always has.
Arguably my favorite peice from all the Star Wars films it really implants the feelings of bittersweet that Anakin and Padme feel during the second film
This Song Is AMAZING, every single time i Heard It i cry, cause the scene in which Anakin kill ( i know he don't die for this) her back in my mind and i fall to cry. THIS IS THE SAGA OF THE HISTORY.
This song is absolutely beautiful. Thanks for linking the sheet music! I'm not the best pianist, spend the past 2 hours trying to play the first 7 bars. Slowly making progress lol
I've heard this song several times, in different forms, but this time, it stopped me in my tracks, and I had a revelation for hope, it was odd, and sad; however really good job, flawless.
Honestly, it's what gives the song its emotion. It isn't just some stupid sappy love song. Star Wars isn't just a stupid love movie. There's a war going on. One that, at times, drives Anakin away from Padme, and at times brings them back together. I like to think the darker tones right before the ending hint at how, in the end, the war leaves them divided, but the ending itself signifies that there is still hope. In a way, the prequels are just a love story. One that goes further than most do, curiously enough. A love that survives a war across the stars only to be die a fiery death right before the heroes can claim victory... Ultimately, I blame the Jedi. The scum rejected the most powerful force in the galaxy, love... what turned Anakin to the dark side and what brought him back. Can you imagine how much more powerful they could have been had they only protected the ones they loved, instead of abandoning them? It would've been too easy to protect Anakin's mom. Buy her freedom, move her back to a safer planet. Instead, they let her die a gruesome death. Join the dark side. There is only Passion. Through Passion I gain Strength. Through Strength I gain Power. Through Power I gain victory. Through Victory my chains are broken. The Force shall free me.
Isn't it amazing how such a frustratingly told story becomes so meaningful because of Jon Williams's work? At least 50% of the reason I'm able to cope with the Prequel Story and accept it so well is because of its astounding soundtrack. I can put Jon Williams music behind any story and make it that much more meaningful (like For Honor, for example.)
Ah one of my 2 top favorites of star wars music together with battle of heroes. Was hoping to see you doing this one day and here it is! Thank you a lot!

Jaminartz It’s Obi-Wan having the high ground and Anakin the low.
Or Padme being the delicate high notes and Anakin being the aggressive low notes. Works nicely either way :)
