Hanoi airport, also known as Noi Bai International Airport, is located north of the city center, about 30 to 35 kilometers (19 to 22 miles) away. Depending on traffic, it can take from 40 minutes to one hour to drive from the airport to the city center, which includes the Old Quarter, Hoan Kiem Lake, and Hanoi Train Station. There is a new bridge crossing that helps to reduce travel time. One option to get from the airport to the city center is by bus, such as the No. 86 express bus line that departs from both airport terminals and takes one hour to reach Hanoi Train Station.
