Yonit you are beautiful like touch of bass guitar that you have .Thank you for your video. I will follow your technique that you used to play a muted bass.
That Sadowsky sounds beautiful!
Hey. Love your bass grooves. Is there a way I could ask you to tell me how I sound?
She's like the Encyclopedia Britannica of bass. Every time I have a problem, I come to her and there's a magic solution.
So beautiful teacher
Thanks mam
Great info. I trying to do all you are demoing but I use a Pad sometimes on the bridge and a hair band above the nut for some Light muting so the bass will not ring out so much .. How do you feel about those ? thanks
How do you adapt this technique to a 5 string bass? Do you move your 3rd and 4th fingers lower? Your technique is brilliant! !
Thankyou so much for these videos! As a petite woman (smaller hand range of motion) teaching myself, its been a challenge to have clean notes. This is super helpful!
super
Reat lesson, thank you! I'm curious though about the right hand muting: why would you not rest your thumb on the D string when playing on the G?
If you do you will probably start to get harmonic ring from the E string. You can employ the lean your thumb back to mute the A string when you anchor your thumb on the D string but that won't keep the E string quiet (whenever your pluck any string you are going to get some harmonics from the other un-plucked and unmuted strings). If you play, get your bass and try it. Plug your bass to the amp and rest your thumb on the D string and pluck the G string . Then abruptly mute the G string with any one of your two plucking fingers . Do you hear the E string ringing a bit? If so that is another reason it's generally not a good Idea to anchor on the D when you want to pluck the G string. Anchoring on the D string to pluck the G string makes it too complicated and cumbersome to mute the E string.
I was told you can build a slap bass bass line off of the drums...if this is so how do you do that
my problem sometimes when i use the e string as thumb rest, it touches the pickups and makes this unwanted magnetic scratching sound
Do you leave the LessonFace team?
❤️❤️❤️
Sometimes I find UA-cam really annoying. And then, it throws up this one to me and it’s exactly what I wanted.
I love you
This lady knows where us bass players weak spots are.
