Smart man always let your machine warm up before revving or riding hard! Biked are too expensive these days to not treat them well. 10hr oil changes on modern high performance 4-strokes! #Maxima #Bel-Ray
@@jomacba You really should change it every other hour to be safe. Look at the pros. One 20 minute moto is all they run their oil and filters. New piston and shims every 10hrs.

Is it common for a little smoke to come out when accelerating harder? Can a healthy engine do this? I have a KX450F and when it is accelerated the way it did in the video, it comes out a little bit of smoke just like it did in the video. Am I worried for nothing?

My 09 kx450 has 280 hours on it, without a rebuild. havent even adjusted the valves. Still starts everytime.

Yes it is pretty normal, however if it dumps smoke out for a consistent amount of time and is constantly smoking then you have issues.
When warming up it’s normal but when hot it’s not it means your oil is passing you poison

Rev limiter is when you hit the throttle at the limit, rev limiters will screw up your engine

I ride a 2012 kx450f on trails, you control the bike, but there definitely is some better trail options at the end of the day
