👍 great video. Have you ever tried the rope method? Where you press the rope into the channel to open the rubber for the glass. As You pull the rope out, at the same time the glass is able to follow the open channel, falling into place. It works incredibly well. The first time I did it was very scary. But the glass just sucked into place. It only takes second! I was inclined to go very slow, but as I started I could see it just wanted to go . So I was able to pull the rope out of the channel very quickly. The rope should be at least a couple of feet longer than the rubber. And the thickness of clothesline. The rubber also comes without the "locking channel" on the 55 same as the 57 I imagine, it also came with the one you show. it was used to hold a thin chrome trim on the "fancy models". It was 40 years ago in 1982 I bought a 1955 Chevy truck without the big glass because it was missing. I Bought replacement glass at a salvage yard in San Diego, payed $50 for a used window, the shop owner told me how install the glass with the rope. A couple of years later it was broken and I payed $60 at the scrape yard for a second replacement glass. It went in just as easy using rope as the first time. I'm 67 now and bought another '55 I will be removing all the glass to restore it. I'll likely be installing it the way I was taught 40 years ago. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'm sure you call Google it. I'm laying in bed right now and I'm not going to get up to look at my catalog, it's in the garage. but you can get numerous different companies that have catalogs where you can get every single nut and bolts. every piece of glass for your truck. I have a 55, a 59 Chevy pickup and a 66 I am restoring. I know that they stock the glass for those trucks including later models, I'm certain there's one for 60. Sorry I'm an old man it's the middle of the night. you can find that glass.
