Doctor I want to say u THANKS a lot I am from Russia and I found ur videos and diet in Russian voice. I eat a lot of grass like cucumbers cabbage … a lot of fat meat and a lot of fats. I don’t eat sugar and chips any more. I lost 5 kg for 2.5 weeks!! I feel no hungry You u can’t imagine my skin on face is extremely clean! I can walk on streets without any “make up” Thank you!!! I love what u do Now I think about use such type of food in present life, not only in a diet. It is tasty, amazing tasty, and it helps my skin and my body to Loose weight. I feel no hungry
If you never feel hungry, besides once a day, then you know your metabolism is in line with whatever you're eating. If you eat junk then you feel hungry again in like 2 hours. You can find what carbs your particular metabolism can handle via this method. If you don't get hungry after eating it until the next day then you're probably okay with it. But that's only if you're metabolically healthy and might be able to process things like squash or beans now and then.

I've lost 52 pounds in the last 3months( starting date:October 1st 2020)doing 20 hours of fasting per day and hardly any exercise. I've done multiple diets through out my life and nothing has been as effortless and effective as keto mixed with intermittent fasting. I look forward to losing another 50 pounds and will continue with this lifestyle because honestly it's the only thing that truely makes sense and I encourage any one who wants to lose weight, feel better, look better, and/or do better to take Dr. Berg's advice because this man definately knows what he's talking about. @@MariaCruz-ub2jc The first week or two of the Keto diet was difficult for me too because firstly, my body was adapting to a new way and cycle of eating and secondly, I was so use to eating anything and everything in sight so cutting my carbs so drastically made my body go through a withdrawal process(much like you would see with a person who suddenly decides to stop doing drugs)and I was hit with extreme hunger pangs because I had suddenly taken away what my body craved most which was carbs. To overcome this, I began watching more of Dr.Bergs videos and learned that I needed to increase my fat intake in order to feel full for longer periods of time which felt weird to me at first because society teaches you to avoid fatty foods and stick to low calorie, low fat foods. So I had to make a mental as well as physical adjustment to the way I eat food and little by little my hunger has diminished and I've been able to increase the number of hours I'm able to fast. I wanna encourage you to stay strong and do more research because I'm thinking mabye your not eating enough calories and fat therefore your body may feel deprived/hungry or mabye your eating too many carbs which makes you hungrier faster. Everyday I'm learning something new about how to adapt to the keto and fasting lifestyle but what I can tell you is if you stick to it, it will pay off and it will become easier to the point of where it becomes second nature. In three months I've gone from a person who would binge eat all day and night(literally)to a person who eats one meal a day with no snacks and feels more energetic and satisfied than I ever did and it all started with the click of a button and getting properly informed about how to lose weight and how the body works. I couldn't have done this without Dr. Bergs videos so I recommend educating yourself about what true ketosis is and isnt and more importantly, be patient with yourself and the process because real change takes time and we're all in this journey together🙂I've lost 52 pounds in the last 3months( starting date:October 1st 2020)doing 20 hours of fasting per day and hardly any exercise. @@MariaCruz-ub2jc Sandra Westley I started on Monday fast till mid day then break my fast with a protein salad, then have another meal about 6pm then go till noon the next day, haven’t found it to be a problem, drank a coffee and loads of water, plus almond milk with no sugar, I can honestly say I haven’t felt hungry.
I love the knowledge you offer us dr berg. I would like to know why some periods of time the body refuse to eat nearly all kinds of food. It lasts for a month or more, even a tiny sandwich feels like huge meal. What is that all about?! I have vitamin d deficiency and taking the vitamin d makes things much worse

Consistency is everything!! Start at 3 meals no snacks and taper down as your hunger disappears. Just be careful if you're on medications and talk with your Dr! Dr fung takes different approach with longer fasts that are monitored. Do your research before starting and look up keto flu! Get your salts at home before you start. 🖖

I've followed the Keto plan for 6 months and the fat melted away. I also felt great, never hungry either. My gallbladder was removed a few months after I stopped the Keto program. My question to you Dr is, what are the implications on the body, being on a high fat program and no longer having a gallbladder? Others have said not having a gallbladder and being on Keto will cause major damage to the liver and pancreas. I would appreciate your input on this.

I have just found that my local health store in UK, which is still open, sells edamame and mung bean pasta shapes. They look like a dried split runner bean. They are really brilliant and great to add to stir fries once cooked. Do you have any comments on the benefits of edamame?

Congratulations! How did you deal with hunger at the beginning? I get up a 6 am and by 8 am my stomach is asking for food...it's very hard to ignore.

@@thespartanphysique ficus of low carb and eating enough protein..you just need to eat enough fat to convince your body to use fat-- eat too much and your body can only burn what you eat. Consistency is everything!! Start at 3 meals no snacks and taper down as your hunger disappears. Just be careful if you're on medications and talk with your Dr! Dr fung takes different approach with longer fasts that are monitored. Do your research before starting and look up keto flu! Get your salts at home before you start. 🖖

OK my boss wants me to try to do keto with her I love your videos I’m starting from your first video and going forward I am 50 years old menopausal and 30 pounds overweight I hope this works PS.. I've followed the Keto plan for 6 months and the fat melted away. I also felt great, never hungry either. My gallbladder was removed a few months after I stopped the Keto program. My question to you Dr is, what are the implications on the body, being on a high fat program and no longer having a gallbladder? Others have said not having a gallbladder and being on Keto will cause major damage to the liver and pancreas. I would appreciate your input on this.

My question to the Dr is a fair one as I'm certain I'm not the only person without a gallbladder who'd appreciate a clear answer to my question. Considering I have not had a response from the dr, I can only assume that keto is a no-go for me and like minded.

Dr. Berg I am diabetic and take metformin. I have been taking benfotamin for several months. My question is twofold. How far apart do i take my B vitamins from metformin? and since it is fat soluble , what do you do for best absorption while fasting?

I have just found that my local health store in UK, which is still open, sells edamame and mung bean pasta shapes. They look like a dried split runner bean. They are really brilliant and great to add to stir fries once cooked. Do you have any comments on the benefits of edamame?

I have a big question. You say not to have high protein things like whey protein due to insulin spike. But what if I include some sort of fat with it to counter the high protein will that make it ok? for the record this is low carb and sugar
