Part 2! Here we go. Random note from someone who's never played it: solo mode is weird, man. I remember reading the rules for it and going, no thanks, I'll just keep playing all my Rangers separately, thank you. Jungle Fury WAS fantastic, my favorite Disney season after Ninja Storm. Though I'm also someone who liked both seasons of Megaforce and has the guts to say it so what do I know? Oh, wait, I know! I like what I like and don't let the crowd decide for me! That's what I know! Huh. My card says 'Helm of Cyclopsis'. I presume mine's the later printing, changed from 'Head of Cyclopsis'? Oh my. Using Dig Deeper to put a measly one shield card instead of a three shield card on top of Kendall's deck when you have her whole combo in hand. And then opening with Vorpal Claws when you could have Rapid Blasted three cards. I'm starting to see those questionable choices you warned me about! Using Rapid Blast when you haven't stacked your deck or added any bonuses? I'm... not sure I've ever done that. Way to luck into that three shield card though! 2 hits... 6 total damage... that was actually pretty effective on its own. I guess I'm just spoiled with always pumping it up to like 7+ dice. SWAT armor's only the first time a Ranger spends Energy so Kendall couldn't use it on both Dino Saber and Rapid Blast. Then again I'm not dumb enough to tell Ms. Morgan what she can't do. All those three shield cards do make Trini work well with that Dino Knight Armor. Ouch, yeah, really should have put the Claw on the leg if you were having Cruger go after the Core. Honestly though that's what makes these videos fun to watch. I can't stop myself from maximally optimizing all my plays in every game so it's kind of refreshing to see you just kind of wing it! (To a certain extent. You're obviously strategizing, just not over-analyzing it and obsessively making every move perfect the way I do. ... Huh. I might have just realized why Kendall's my favorite Ranger.) You really need to recover Dino Morpher Blast into your deck... And drawing both Rapid Blasts into your hand is why. No three hits today! Not going to lie as cool as those guard tokens look I can already tell they'd just confuse me as to what's guarding what. Also if someone made a Purple Energem token I'd buy it in a heartbeat. Or a Dark Energem token. Just saying... Man all those random uses of Rapid Blasts terrify me. Don't forget to Dig Deeper! Also it inherently ignores guard so you don't need to use the claw. Double Critical hit! Rock their world Kendall! YES YES YES! ... Sorry. I'm cool. I'm fine. ... Also now that I can think again note that you only assign damage with Rapid Blast after rolling due to the no targeting thing. You don't pick cards until after rolling so you could have hit the 4 health Blue-Head instead of the 3 health Krybot. Also who cares?! GO KENDALL! Take that Krybots! It's Ms. Morgan to you buddy! I may or may not put a finger gun to my mouth and blow out the barrel like a gunslinger every time she does that. I mean that is practically the pose she's in anyway. You have plenty of spread damage with Rapid Blast. It's those attack boosts that you're missing and would have been really helpful. Though admittedly Cruger's dogged (heh) refusal to draw Discipline isn't helping. How's Super Dino Mode weird here? Kendall invented like three different Super Modes for her team (Dino Steel, Dino Drive, Dino Super Drive). Theme fits well enough. Kendall SO wishes Metallic Armor was when a card is revealed in any way and not just for defense. I mean it was obviously designed that way intentionally to avoid such synergies (4 extra dice? Yes please!) however I can dream. And on to part three!
Seriously, after reading through this and what you wrote in Part 3, I would very much like to sit down and watch you play Kendall. You have her down to a science, able to efficiently use her and whatever else is available in the game to maximize her damage output. When I do these, I often get caught up and miss things as the game progresses. Not only am I solo paying attention to the team and enemies on the field, but also making sure my equipment is running, everything is stable with all of it, and keeping and ear/eye open should something come up with my kids. That and I want to give each Ranger/Hero time to shine. So while Kendall is amazing (her Mega Zord is the BEST for the Solo variant), I wanted to make sure Doggie and Trini got to showoff their stuff too. Thank you so much!
