This is all so true as I have worked with people of different ages who have brain injuries and mental health disorders that have learned new skills, thoughts, and habits. It's amazing!

If you are depressed you are living in the past
If you are anxious you were living in the future
If you are at peace you are living in the present

I arrived here after watching a video of someone inaccurately defining neuroplasticity in a vlog. Curios to know if I had been forgetting things I didn't care about because I was learning new things I was actually interested in, I typed in, "what is neuroplasticity?" After watching this video, it really got me thinking about a plethora of scenarios where repetition and trauma lead to all kinds of challenges in life, especially during crucial developmental stages in children. On the contrary, understanding how neuroplasticity works can help individuals develop the will to persevere through the rewiring process in an effort to work through varying challenges.

This is very informative. With one exception the saying is not "an old dog can always learn new tricks"! LOL the saying actually is "you CAN'T teach an old dog a NEW trick" they really should omit that statement from this video. It might be seen as intentionally deceptive.

Neuro is ALSO a Greek word. The Terminology of health matters is all of Greek origin.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
It takes about 66 days on average to establish a habit (and about 21 days for a mental image to dissolve).

I hope your not expecting your mini army to do anything negative to my mind and brain do you? Because if so your in for a rude awakening. Only positive things are being done, because when the day is over I'm still in control of my mind and only myself is able to choose to get stronger.
