Hi, i bought the car stereo. Mine is have a rockford, then i buy a harness with a can bus. The problem is there is no control in the steering wheel.
You have to wire SWC cables
The head unit that I bought it connects directly to the car harness the only problem is, it has only one plug and the outlander have two plugs so it doesn't activate the amplifier, so I got no sound please help.?
Make photos of cables of the car and photos of the cables of the head unit
You need to buy the extra canbus wiring harness that is specific for the outlander with Rockford system. You should have checked this when ordering your system and made sure it was the correct android device. Contact your supplier and tell them.

What wire did you use to trigger the Amplifier to come on? I've installed this headunit and have power but no sound.

With voltmeter , check original radio where puts 12 volt to start amplifier

I dont like the old rockford like radio in this car it looks old and unmodern like its alot worse than other radios or screens, in my opinion it makes car look a bit cheap

Sorry guys, what is Rockford Audio System??? Is it original part of the vehicle or also aftermarket device, my model is VR, didn't notice those letters,
Rockford is factory system with subwoofer
Installed this andiod unit in my car now a/c back light and steering wheels light not turning on when headlights get trunk on
Any ideas
