Just picked up a s220 have not used it yet but can't wait. I had the e100 which I thought was good for what it was probably a little bit small for about a acre. The s220 is a nice up grade with a 22 horsepower
My X758 has a soft cab with plastic windows. My former X749 also had a soft cab, but with a glass windshield and a motor driven wiper. The X758 makes an excellent companion to the 1025R.
Hey Josh, Great video! I’m considering a x758. Wondering if you could do a video outlining why you chose it over say a 1025r. I noticed you mention in an older video when you had the x580 that you felt the x700 series isn’t worth it when you can get a 1025r or a Proper sub compact for similar money. If you’ve done a vid on this I apologise.
I bought a e100 a year ago that had 26 hours for $500. I’m very happy with it and haven’t had any issues. I use it to mow a 1/4 acre lot that’s all. A lot better than using a push mower for sure.
I am looking for a modern garden tractor like my old wheel horse. It was only 12hp had full hydraulics and a sleeve hitch to use a moldboard plow as well as a cast iron transmission. The only thing i can find equivalent to that is a x700 but they are far to expensive and the sleeve hitch for it is over $600. Someone needs to build real garden tractors again.
We used to have an old guy that had an X700 and he drove it for everything to get around in the neighborhood and you could always tell how drunk he was by how high the throttle was set when he was driving down the road. If he had it full throttle, look out, he was plastered.😂
Haha, well not to defend drunk driving, but that is a downside to the X700s! You are only going to get near top speed if the throttle is all the way up.
Its versatility alone is worth the price if you have several acres as it can blow snow, mow grass, haul logs, spread fertilizer, seed, and horse manure. It can also move a trailer around on the property, and the front receiver hitch makes "backing" a trailer into a parking space, especially easy. The 3-point hitch accommodates a landscape rake and a back blade. During power outages, you can even power a 10 kW generator. So, why purchase a mower, a snow blower, a generator, etc, separately?
Excellent video highlighting capabilities. I have an X 738. Have a 5.8 acre property. It does the job. Good maintenance is key.
great video! I am waiting for my x758 to arrive. I thought I had researched well but I learned much from you, thanks for taking the time.

I haven’t done one yet, but I can, maybe in the next couple days I’ll get some time to. Gotta get my reasoning together haha

As always excellent video josh ❤ I myself have the S100 and a 1025R and both are excellent machines, Love anything Green and Yellow 👍
You didn't mention the hydraulic power steering that makes it so easy to steer.
I have an e180 but want to upgrade before long!
Another awesome review Josh! Very informative, sure wish the 580 was still there with you 😂. Cheers 🍻

Can you add a bearing kit to the front axles of the E100? Some call it the poor man’s power steering.
This isn’t my machine, or I would. If I ever come across one cheap, I’ll get it and show how it’s done!

Still doesn’t seem worth the price. If you want to mow grass buy a mower if you want to get work done buy a tractor.
