If you make your own Kombucha, it's an entirely different story! You can control when your kombucha is ready - I leave mine until it's almost as sour as ACV. All the sugars have been consumed by the SCOBY, and you're left with a very healthy and delicious drink.

have fun with your time-consuming hobby that has no proven benefit. even home-made kombucha is not relevant microbiome-wise. you really need a strong probiotic with trillions (not billions) of bacteria and a wide range of bacteria, not just a few of the same. the only thing worth making is kefir, for the most part. pretty much everything else is a waste of time.

For fiber on carnivore: macadamias ftw. What people freak out about is it is normal to only go (poop) every 2-3 or even more days on carnivore as you're now consuming material the body can use and not just pass as waste as carb fed does, that's why they go every day, they consume garbage that just gets passed through. Carnivore needs to just drink more water, a lot more.

The FDA requires that producers of fermented products list the total amount of sugar added BEFORE fermentation. The actual amount left, while not usually 0 grams is very minimal. Juices and other things with natural sugars are usually added at bottling to get carbonation, but again, a lot of that gets fermented and very minimal is left. What you end up with is majority organic acids e.g. acetic, gluconic, glucoronic acids which do have plenty of positive human data. Most human trials of kombucha aren't terrible well designed and underpowered, but almost exclusively show neutral to positive results. Unless you're completely avoiding sugar or hate the taste it doesn't seem to me to be a bad idea to take. Cost is probably the biggest drawback. You could make it yourself which is pretty cheap besides the time cost. I've made it, and bought the store bought stuff on and off since I was a teenager in the 90's and swear in general I feel better when I drink it regularly.

Kombucha is very acidic, so I'd be more concerned about what its doing to your teeth, not your gut, it will help your gut though, just be careful about your oral health as its a double edged sword, and drink the no sugar variant instead. ( also, probably should reduce to one a week)
Don't do juice clense, some plants are useful but a lot of plants are anti-androgenic and also contain toxins like oxalates, oxalates will damage your testicles among other things, and its also an anti-nutrient, as it binds to things like calcium, magnesium and potassium, if I remember correctly.
Thats why people go on carnivore, feel better, its because they are starting to reduce oxalate saturation and bring those levels down, hut be carefull not to dumo too many oxalates in a short period of time, you will get sick as a dog, dump oxalates slowly.
Also, caloric and carb restriction will reduce androgen levels, and androgen deficiencies lead to a lot of health problems like type 2 diabetes.

I drink 8 oz of kombucha every day. I would *never* under any circumstances, drink store bought kombucha. If you are buying store bought kombucha *you are not* drinking kombucha.
Kombucha must be brewed at home and it must be very tart (much lower sugar) and only 8oz a day.
It sounds like you were drinking 3×16oz bottles of store bought kombucha per day which is truly *horrific*

It’s quite sneaky to say that if you’re doing carnival, you don’t need fiber ;if you’re not doing carnival you need fiber. although it doesn’t make any sense but it doesn’t offend anyone so it doesn’t hurt your business ,but it’s not honorable for saying that , because it shows that you don’t have a stance,

Well yeah dude you’re not supposed to drink 3 kombuchas per day. True that there isn’t much or any human data on it, but what about the pre/probiotic supplement you promote on here? Does that have any human data?

I thought perhaps he meant full-sugar Meta-mucil or the Artificial Sweetened Meta-mucil.
      Choose carefully 😉
There is a Stevia Meta-mucil that actually tastes better and isnt so vividly orange!
