6:17 i think for our character landing in this area will go how it did for olimar it will be the last area and the pikmin will scatter and the onion will act strange
I played it and it was amazing, the coolest part is that there is a lot you can get done, you can even get the blue onion without cheating which is cool! Also I am glad they gave us hope of Olimar surviving
@@WigwamManI was afraid they were just gonna do the tutorial and that is it, but they gave us the Miitopia treatment, the entire first area is available try to do everything we can in, you can even get the blue onion!
Your actually able to get Blues early in the Demo if you get both Flarlics and max out Oachis carry weight. Its a bit tricky to pull off but if you do it right you can get Blues before the 2nd area unlocks
@@Quackra well theres litterally only 1 patch of Water in the entire first area, but from the looks Blues will be used for deep water while Ice/Oachi can only go on the surface of the water. Also those water hazards we saw in gameplay those will also need Blues 100%
i like that onionless types still go in the onion but it would be cool if they stayed in the beagle that way you could access them at night while the onion is in orbit
I have a small theory: this is a alternate timeline also I think they are gonna go back to pikmin 1 - 3 original timeline back in pikmin 5 this also means that enemies from this game are probably not coming back because that wouldn’t make sense unless they go back to this story in future titles of the pikmin franchise
How did you do it? I found the blue onion as well but I couldn't do it since I needed 20 Pikmin to carry it and I had a 40 limit and 30 Pikmin were needed to freeze the lake to get over there
@@spirittail4958 When the pikmin have no passage, it turns in circles as soon as they approache the edge, I call it back then I put it back on the blue onion again and again until the onion falls. As much as I enjoyed this demo, I did wish there were more sublevels to the cave, plus in the past few Pikmin games the enemies respawned a few days after you killed them. They didn't in this one. Unless the latter issue is a feature in the demo, I'd say that's not a smart move. I'll give it about a 7 to 7.5 for now. I'm just concerned they're pulling their punches for this one. Definetly a 10/10 to me. Everything ive wanted in a pikmin game is either in the demo or confirmed. Sadly only 2 sublevel caves so far but later in the game that will definetly change

@@talentlessanimator2831 i think the reason oatchi being able to carry so much for cheap is because of how useful oatchi is to have. if oatchi is out carrying something back; especially if theyre alone and thus doing it slowly; youre not gonna be able to transport pikmin across water; charge; jump; or use them as a second captain type guy. since oatchi can do so many different things and theres only one oatchi they are both very strong but very limited
shepherd and collin are great characters
True
there is some dialog you get if you find all 100 pikmin when you play as olimar
its a nice lil detail yeah!
@@WigwamMan i found that out after my second playthrough when i tried to get every single pikmin
i realsed it in the rescue corps mission picture thing but i didnt realise collin also was a thug *ss gangster while standing in the hub area
Ikr, hes got no chill

he doesnt deserve the boss music
I fought another one, and it doesn't play the mini-boss music outside of there

Can't wait to play the full version!

sparklium is literally pokos with a different name
Yay! He has 1 to 4 of the series!
Electricity can kill pikmin after 5 sec of being shocked
A nice balance between being harmless or being an instakill
@WigwamMana makes me wonder if there's a boss that will play keep away with you onec it shockes your pikmin
omg when you throw pikmin at nectar it prioritizes throughing leafed pikmin instead of flowers :0
That's honestly a good thing
The quality of life in this game is INSANE im in love

I love how you refuse to call him russ lmao

i hope we get a side story where we play as olimar from before the rescue corp arrives
it is confirmed
