I found it to be rather "meh" myself. I suggest looking into Earth Under Siege: Flashpoint, which just shipped from the manufacturer and still has pre-order available.
Agree, it was everything I don't want in a board game. If they made a Cyberpunk 2077 version of The Witcher board game, I would have been excited and backed it.
This will go down as a wasted opportunity just like Human Interface. Two great looking games visually but mediocre in gameplay. This guy will flog it to death like he did The Witcher Old World and tell everyone how great it is but people aren’t stupid, they’ve seen the gameplay and know how bad it is.
I'm sure there are enough people for whom the gameplay is genuinely entertaining enough for the game to succeed, but it's just not the kind of game my gaming group and I would like. It's a shame, because I love the IP and I enjoyed The Witcher Old World. This one just looks like rather boring mechanics wrapped up in a pointlessly real-time structure.

This game reminds me of Earth Under Siege: Flashpoint (to me it's a much more interesting game than Cyberpunk 2077), which has just started it's journey from China to the rest of the world. This is the first game for Dark Horizon Games, and they are acting like pros who've been doing it for years with constant feedback and regular updates. They've encountered some hefty price increases for shipping, but instead of passing that on to backers, they've absorbed the cost. They're currently running a pre-order for overstock copies of Earth Under Siege: Flashpoint to help make up for the price increase. Now is a good time to revisit that campaign and pass on the news to your followers as more of a feel-good video, and hopefully they can help out Dark Horizon Games and get a great game in return.
Giving that this game seems to be finished already I don't see why this needs crowdfunding. CDPR and Asmodee can easily take the riak to just produce and release it traditionally. And that risk will be rather small because lots of video gamers who don't know what a proper dungeon crawler looks like will by it because of the IP

No way I can back this from what I saw in that playthrough. The game is terrible.
I'm a big fan of Cyberpunk 2077 and the cyberpunk genre in general. I was VERY disappointed with the gameplay they showed, and it's definitely not what I want in a Cyberpunk 2077 game, or any board game. If they had done something closer to The Witcher: Old World, which I backed and like, then I would be interested. But this real-time, app-driven game is a huge no thanks.

Yes it is. If you backed on first day (which was yesterday) you get V with mantis too, even without following.

It will never NEVER be as good as the digital version
If you doubt it, it will be better than the digital version, which even after several corrections is not what was promised.
Go On Board is a campaign company, not a board game company. They have some great CDPR properties, but man, they make boring, uninspired games.
Gameplay is sleepy
Doesn’t interest me. Seems like a waste of money. I’ll just stick with the CMON version. Just seems like IP money grab
