This is so sweet of you guys ❤ no pun intended All joking aside, very kind and generous to post these helpful videos. I'm very inspired to get backing my holiday treats to share with others ❤
Just found your channel a couple of videos ago. Love how you are just you in making all these great goodies! And you are enjoying making them just like I do! Thank you for all your ideas and saving money! We are retired 3 kids later and 7 grands later! This is so helpful and love how it is ALL just homemade fun and common sense!! ❤
Thank you for this video that reminded me that years ago I made these for two of my daughters' wedding receptions in the colors they chose to decorate with.
I was feeling your pain on measuring the powdered sugar. It is the evil glitter of baking. 🤣It can be frustrating measuring it out of the bag because it sticks to the bag. So I dump it in a huge wide mouth container when I buy it, that I can easily dip my measuring cup into. Powdered sugar is still a necessary evil, but more manageable that way. Thanks for more great recipes!
Our grandmother used a hard plastic mold for mints. Rolled in sugar before molding and refrigerated for a short time, they popped right out. That may help those who want "fancy" candies.
My sisters and I use to make these for my girls and ALL 15 of my nieces showers and weddings it was such a good time together, brings back wonderful memories, we always used the molds. If you put sugar in each of the mold they released easier.
I love that candy "You've got your chocolate in my peanut butter." I have those in the house now from Halloween. :) I'm going to make those mints and think of you this Christmas.
👋👋👋👵hi sweety it's Granny Ingrid 👵,love this candy, and plz tell me whats the name of that beautiful piano music in the background..its just lovley.plzcguvebme the name.. hi to JILL...
Those look yummy! I have a question. Dollar tree used to sell a box of candy around Christmas and Valentines Day and stopped carrying in my area. It was called Elmer Chocolate Premium Assorted Box Chocolates Christmas Candy. It has a strawberry crème candy in it and I love it and have been hunting a recipe close to it. It sorta reminds me of chocolate covered cherries , meaning when you bit into the hard chard chocolate the inside is just a tiny bit thicker then the chocolate covered cherries and it doesn't have the fruit, just the flavor. I would love to get my hands on the recipe. I have tried a few from the stores and its more like the texture of the molded mints you did in this video and covered with chocolate. The chocolate is this and I milk chocolate. They also have one made with orange crème and dark chocolate covering, it is surprisingly very good. I love your recipes, I got you a folder on my youtube so I can put just your video's in it. I have a few other cooking shows I love as well. Thanks again for the cook book download. If I don't answer right back, I got a full week a head of me and I know you do as well. I found it on ebay, if you need to see pictures of the candy, maybe it will still be there. Its rectangle off white box. Have a great week! :)♥ Oh and the inside is a light pinkish color.
You know a couple of your “cups” were probably half a cup😂 I appreciate the recipes… i truly dont understand the hang up?/Addiction! Americans have with peanut butter… it belongs on bread😂😂😂❤

for the mints, I like to shape them by putting them through a cookie press. They turn out really nicely that way.ay.
