Just wanted to leave a message and say thank you for the videos and advice I passed first time Friday 12th July 8am test. I had a handful of minors allot of commercial trucks on the road very busy school morning. I had no sleep and I was stressed BUT I stayed composed and remembered to do those mirror checks and drive the best I could. So thank you for the video’s and helpful advice especially in the comments. I look forward to watching more videos from you in the future. Thanks again Paul 👊🏼

@therealpro9646 Yes, 30mph MAX. If you are heading toward BIRD Street you'll have to go considerably slower due to the potential pedestrian activity next to the park. There are also loads of parked cars up there, reducing the width of the road. 👍
21:55 cars were on your side, would you not of failed for not giving way to that skoda? the only reason i can see you not giving a fault there is because it was over a hill you just seen them and you were going fairly quick and itd be abrupt to brake maybe?
7:15 when he indicated to turn right I done the same during a mock test and I was told thats a fault because I indicated too early it would’ve looked like to the instructor/ other cars I’m turning right to enter the petrol station is this true?
@zedzino11 an extremely fussy examiner might think this, but I doubt it. There are many places like this. Besides, did your signal affect anybody in a way not intended?
@@RioDrivingSchool none it was the exact same scenario there might have been more activity on the road it was around 3pm I believe but my instructor has said it and It was a treated as a silent mock test. But when I was told the fault my whole focus dropped because it made me more nervous. I have encountered less than a handful of scenarios like this where you’re about to turn right near traffic lights but before then theres a road or a petrol station to the right. I just don’t know what the right way of handling the signal in these situations is?
@zedzino11 if there is a road before the traffic lights, I'd delay using my indicator. One exception: if you're on a very fast moving road and there are x2 turns bery close together (this happens in Featherstone). If you're only worrying about service stations or entrances to nursing homes, for example, I'd only worry if another road user was attempting to exit from that place. Simply ask yourself - did my signal confuse anybody? You won't go far wrong. 👍

Is swan road outside the test centre a 30mph road? Feel like there’s no where that tells the speed of that road

He was fully committed when he saw the car approach, and could only pull over when there was space to do so. No fault recorded. 👍
