I agree with you. I don't believe there is a bad kpop group out there cause the idols are always very well trained and selected. Even the groups that do not succeed and end up quickly disbanding are suuuper talented and usually those do not thrive due to lack of resources, bad management, etc.
And yes the groups are always a whole package. 1: because the companies select people with talent in as many areas as possible (singing, dancing, rapping, producing, song writing, playing instruments, modeling and ofc having THE looks)
2: they train them in the areas they are already good but also in the ones they are not
And 3: because like if one member really lacks in rapping for example, they make up for it with another person that is a really good rapper

Anti-drop sets up the rap section. Going from a lit drop into the rap would not has been as effective.

They only have 40 songs but their level and quality is so superior that that alone is enough to become the biggest girl group in history.
The songs that DO NOT have a music video (as they do not have subtitles) I recommend that you watch them in COLOR CODED LYRICS, look for it on UA-cam, they are the same songs but with a translation and on the screen they show who of the 4 is singing.

I will get a lot of hate from this comment, but I am down for it...
there are a lot of KPOP groups, many do not even get the views to be considered good. there were at least 61 new groups in 2023 alone.
I do not want to be labeled as only liking BlackPink. I do enjoy other groups but the difference is this. I can listen to 100% all BlackPink songs and they all hit. but I can only listen to a few of the other songs from other groups.
I thought StrayKids was going to be the next big group for me, 2019-2021 they put out some crazy good songs, but I did not care for their first album, and I do not care for this current album. I do not care for BTS or Twice. if I hear their songs, I will not turn it off, but It would not be me who chooses these songs. and for the 4th gen groups. they are putting out some good songs, but they are all still trying to find their groove, so again, I do not like every song they put out. I like a hip hop sound with a beat. Pop music is ok, but I can only tolerate it if there is something . . . hip hopish. lol and a lot of groups are doing this now, they are pop mainly but they are adding beats, and swag, and their rap lines are getting better as well.
So My next group I am starting to pay attention to is BabyMonster. They are new, and a lot of controversy surrounds them, manly because they come from YG and are following BlackPink. But once they break free from the stigmatism, I am curious to see where they take their stardom too. they have the talent, looking forward to see them shine.
