My daughter just passed away less than a week ago. Her knick name is baby as she was our youngest. She loved this song so much that she had the first verse tattooed on her arm. She would sing this song with her brother and older sister over and over taking turns trading back and forth with each verse. To honor her we will be playing this at her service. Miss you so so very much baby! Till we meet again...we all love you eternally!

I love how everyone is taking the "turn my insides out and smother me" so literally...Haven't you ever had butterflies in your stomach? And you just feel like they're turning inside out? Or haven't you ever cuddled someone so tight that it was slightly difficult to breathe? That's what this song means people...it's truly a love song.

Its someone cool to see what brought others to this. My ex who was 7 years younger than I adored this song. She played this and lost herself in it thinking about "us". I hated the song because I always believed it to be her and an ex I feel she hardly knew. Hindsight her eyes while slow dancing with me in my house listening to this really told the story in hindsight for me. Interesting how life opens itself isn't it?

The year was 2008. Talking to my first love on MySpace. Feels like a lifetime ago. Brings back good memories though.
It's been a year since our youngest daughter passed away. Her name was Kristi. She was our baby and the youngest of our three kids. Kristi loved this song so much, she loved the Used, that she had the first verse tattooed on her arm. Kristi and I have gone and seen them four different times before she passed. We played this song at her funeral and everyone who attended had copies of the lyrics to sing along. My kids would sing this song with her all the time while sitting in her room. Such sweet memories. Each night I sit at the tree we planted in our backyard where we placed her ashes and play this song for her each night before bed. It's our time together. Still cry but we're trying to move on. God I miss her! We all miss her so much it hurts. There's a piece of you that's missing. There's an emptiness, a hollow feeling that never goes away.
