Cj is a massive role model to me. Cant believe what she and this band has accomplished, they deserve to be massive. I allways find that I relate to her lyrics and sometimes it gives me hope. Tablets don't help at all no matter what I try and now I've finally been getting diagnosed with medical conditions it feels like the walls are caving in. Just remember you're not alone and it be nice to have a chat. :) (cj, rhys and the other members of the band, you guys rock) ❤❤❤
The production on this album was lovely. This came out when I was a teenager and I would go outside in the winter and sit in the snow while I listened to Primrose Path because it was so perfect to me
When the song dropped as a single (before they released the album) I actually was not big on it. After a while though, it grew on me and it has been my favorite by them, for some time now. It was almost obvious CJ had battled with her own personal demons. Thus hearing about her departure (along with Rhys) I couldn't really be surprised. They helped me with a lot of shit that I had been going through, especially in 2019, and I owe it entirely to their music along with a couple other bands. I do hope CJ finds her own strength and will be able to return to writing music and singing for Dream State because it will not be the same now she's gone.

I couldn't have said this better myself, the amount CJ helped me through my own struggles with addiction and mental health is something I wish everyday I can thank her for. Sadly she's went completely radio silent, I just wish we could get someway to know she's okay, my friend who's in a band who supported Dream State is friends with her on her personal Facebook page and she hasn't even updated that. I just wish with everything that she's okay, because I'd love to give back to her what she done for me
@@SarahRenniexoxo Mental health really is affecting everyone. It can still fuck me up, today, but I don't think I could sink as low as I did in '18 and '19 like I mentioned. Dream State's music was the one I listened the most during that period and I forever am in debt to them for managing to pull me out of the hole I put myself in. We may not ever see CJ, in terms of making music, but the thing that always comes first is bettering your health and stability, and it sounds like she has a lot worse going on than most everyone else is going through. (Not that it's a competition.) Regardless of what happens, I truly wish she'll find the strength to carry on.

I'm a 40 soon to be 41 year old who's dealt with a lot of trauma/depression/addiction and Linkin Park saved my life. I'm still heartbroken Chester is gone as I know he meant a lot to you too. I just want to say I listen to a lot of different music...and CJ your voice makes me feel something that Chester's did when I first heard them.
