We rewatched the first Peaky Blinders and was amazed how much we recognized after being here. It's amazing to see how authentic it looks in person, then in the show. It was a fantastic museum. Thank you for watching.
@@TravelswithVandSteve It's funny I do that a lot too. I come across a lot of filming locations in New Mexico. Like Longmire and young guns. You'd be surprised how much is filmed in New Mexico
You got some beautiful weather to be there! I can't believe how hot June has been. It really is done well, my mother in law said the same about reminding her of her childhood. Sounds like you enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
I've wanted to see Colonial Williamsburg since I was a teenager! I absolutely love these types of museums, they are like stepping back in time. Thank you so much for watching!
We love living museums like this. Thanks for showing us around the massive 26 acre grounds of this museum. We have never seen Peaky Blinders but Jack just mentioned it a couple days ago as we were discussing shows we would like to stream as we are almost done with the ones we have been streaming lately. That was the first I heard of the show. So we will start it soon and be on the lookout for these filming locations. I would love to see the 40s, 50s and 60s area once complete. Thanks for introducing us to the Black Country Living Museum!
We were both so impressed with this museum, there was just SO much to do and see! I didn't realize how big it would be. I haven't watched much of Peaky Blinders so I need to watch more (If you have trouble with the accents, put on the captions!) but it was so cool to see a filming location. I am in love with open air museums and places that preserve the buildings, it's like taking a walk in the past. Let me know what you think of Peaky Blinders! Thanks so much for watching!
What an incredible place! So much to see and do, love the history behind the industrial revolution, this is totally up my street! Thank you for sharing, looks like you had a great day out, love Peaky Blinders too!!
We were both amazed at this place, there is SO much and all of the people in costume going around made it feel authentic. It was a great day out and seeing the filming location made it even better! Thanks so much for watching!
So much to see and do in a museum of that magnitude! It really felt like you time traveled in this one haha. This is so genuine to the old days. Big like!
Thanks Chris! This really was like stepping back in time and it was done so well. I'm really loving these open-air museums. They are such a great way to preserve and see the past. Thanks so much for watching!!
We could see why they used it for filming - it's the perfect time frame for Peaky Blinders. The whole museum is great and seeing the filming location just made it even better. We'd love to go to a Peaky Blinders night! Thanks for watching.
Lovely video. When have many great attractions in the West Midlands. Come and visit, you will be made very welcome. Also the canal is called the cut in the Black Country.
We have absolutely loved every minute we've spent in the West Midlands and look forward to seeing more! What are your favourite spots? Thanks so much for watching!
@@shropshirelass264 I will keep these in mind for next time. We hoped to do Dudley Zoo and Castle (and stayed right beside it, we could hear the animals in the morning) but ran out of time. I will write these down!
I love going to filming locations. Thank you for showing us this. So cool

Those open air museums are cool 😎

We are there today during lovely Summer weather. Reminds us very much of our childhoods in Birmingham in the early 1950's onwards.

Beautiful grounds! Reminded me a bit of Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. Beautiful tour my friend ❤

This is such a great museum. They are building more so we may have to go back. Thanks so much for watching!
