Ryan n I have dreams of off grid type life when kids are all grown which is in about 8 years. Neither of us r with our babies" parents so we gott do what we gott do especially with prices these days. Really AWESOME GREENHOUSE build with the whole family involved. My dad had SIX daughters and I was the only one that loved fishing, camping and when my older brother wouldn't let me play touch football in the backyard DAD said: LET HER PLAY!!! LOL They were afraid of me because I only weighed 90 pounds and they all were really kind and very careful to not hurt me. Many memories for sure. God bless you all and for you DAD you are outnumbered with all those girls LOLOL.

Thank you! I didn’t think those crooked cedar logs would be so heavy! But wow! 😆 The slab wood is some heavy duty stuff! Some is over 3 inches thick! You take care as well!
You're right about the cedar lasting a long time. We're cleaning up our property in the Keweenaw, and there's cedar logs stacked around that have been there at least 50 years. Not useable anymore, but not rotten either. We'll be chipping cedar branches soon for the animal barns and garden. Keep up the good work!
Our house is on 125 year old cedar posts from the mining days. They're starting to rot at the ground. We'll be jacking it up later this summer. A cedar woodlot is a huge asset to the homestead!
