We have this machine it plays exactly as it does in the video. We rebuilt it and looks brand new. This is great for teaching my daughter how to play as well.
Made by International Concepts (Gottlieb/Premier) in 1989, this is one of last "Gottlieb System 80b" pinball, and one of fewer with YM2151 synth chip instead of AY-3-8910 for music.
I remember this was at my local Pizza Hut circa 1990. I swear it would let me play for free I would just press the button and it started every now and then. The song is so nostalgic.
Man that song is kickin'! But that's common for system 80 songs. Thanks for sharing this vid. Probably not going to get to play one of these in person any time soon. Although I did play a Gottlieb Gemini. That's kinda rare...lol.
This pinny must have been in the upscale bars because I never seen it before. Seems pretty darn easy to play. Easy gameflow, easy multiball, but nothing else after that. The cocktail table is ingenious. Wouldn't mind playing one of those.
Isn’t anyone going to talk about this being the newest cocktail pinball machine? That’s right, there hasn’t been another cocktail pinball machine in almost 30 years.
donado xie this and Caribbean Cruise. It was a bit of a racket by International Concepts, because the cocktail concept hadn’t been revisited since the 70’s. It was recently discovered that Gottlieb actually was testing a redemption machine cocktail basketball-themed game called “One Vs One” it was JUST discovered last month. So Gottlieb had wanted to revisit cocktails in the late 80’s early 90’s and International Concepts was a good way to test it on someone else’s dime. Night Moves was very popular but Caribbean Cruise was not. Both are by far the best of the cocktails.
Story of my late teen years, Miami Vice, pinny size. I remember playing this jizz-a-roo ( don't ask, I came up with that description ) back when the Indian Hill Mall in Pomona, CA WAS something 34 years ( and unfortunately LEFT my wallet 😵 ouch!!! ). The play was simple, and some knucklehead moving company forgot about it! But I played it, and my highest score was 799,450 points. Now, that would be called above average scoring, but it is my personal best....IF NOTHING ELSE. But Night Moves made pinball history regardless as a tabletop masterpiece. Too bad the arcade went jazzed up.....I mean out of business 4 years later......30 years ago. Such memories, and all that jazz, jizz, and the kitchen sink I went through that jizz-a-roo of a pinball machine 😅. Thank goodness it's all behind me.
They're not hard to find, generally. Post on pinside.com or on the Pinball Enthusiasts Facebook group and you'll find one. They go for around $1000-2000? Hard to say.
Had one of these in our basement growing up. Best pinball machine I’ve ever played on. I wish my dad would have kept it.
My Dads childhood dream machine Thanks for sharing!
Is no one going to mention how good the player is in this video? Holy crap!
That's an amazing amount of action for such a tiny table!

Played one of these in a Ground Round restaurant back in the early 90's. Very cool pin.

That's too bad these cocktail pinball machines didn't take off. I think it's a great idea for bars and shit.
just bought one cost arm and leg..brings back memories
Looks old and classic for a 1989 pintall machine

Never have seen one of these before. Interesting machine. I love the sounds. Somebody put some thought into that.
Great machine. Hard to play with the small play field though. Great Gottlieb music too!
A nice little machine.

I like!!!!!
Beautiful machine. I'll wager my 74 Sky Jump for it in a 1v1 ;D
I was about to buy this same one back in the day! Classic game! Do you still have it?
Nope. Long gone.
What's the going rate for one of these today? And how hard to find?
