Maybe it’s because they look blind? As if they’re so powerful that they simply don’t need to see because they already know everything?
But if you wanted to change it up you can try something pupil-like in the same color as the rest of the eye but a lighter shade

@@MoonMoon-zz3lq Well, they do look blind My sister had an old miniature poodle that was blind in one eye it was grayish-blue. Man bit my nose, he was truly powerful. But he died of old age sadly though, still powerful.

Also about the no pupils thing I do the exact same thing when I'm trying to get a godly or a spirit sort of vibe but usually I use white for the eyes and don't really use color for them at all.

Dont worry, I also prefer no irises/pupils in a piece lol. I feel like adding them, depending on their size and shape, can completely change the vibe/emotion the character/creature is expressing, or the vibe you're going for in general. I find it easier to just leave em off
