ok so, as i spread the word about Danielle's greatness I see ppl check out a few vids such as this one & I hear "she doesn't even look at the camera, no emotion" Well as we know they are wrong. You can't look at one or two vids & make a determination based on her interaction w the camera. Especially with these acoustic performances, they are not about being flashy, it's her vocal abilities. ppl need to LISTEN to this girls voice. I'll never stop supporting her, I know what she's got & it's awesome.

As I have done with 7 of these performances, after watching the video 10-15 times i start listening to Danielle with my eyes closed and just focus in on the musical performance and production and have another whole new experience. She is so far beyond her years with her vocal skills and ability to deliver a song. So many people who are blessed to see her live always say she is better live than when recorded. There is a clear reason for that and it is that she is able to touch people in a very special way and they are overwhelmed by her angelic vocal projection and it captivates them. Very much the same way she does with these covers to her fans and even those who have never heard of her before. It has been such a pleasure each week waiting to see just how blown away i am going to be with each release. Looking forward to more now with the news from today there will be more coming. ***** I think for a new artist to really sell well right out of the box they first have to be lucky. They have to be at the right place at the right time. For instance...Carrie Underwood...At the time she came out there wasn't much competition for new country artists and she had a huge following as AI was at their zenith at the time. They have to have that one song that resonates with everyone...Danielle's album has great music on it and she resonates with young and old but there are quite a few new country artists. Another thing is that radio air play makes a big turning point in album sales. If you listen to country radio...8 out of 10 songs played are male singers...There are tons of variables...I think that where you will see a huge turning point with Dani is when she releases her 2nd album...She has a better idea of what she wants to do and will be able to have more input plus I believe Hilary Lindsey, one of the best writers in Nashville, will take Dani to the top of the charts.

You're trying to compare an 18 year old young lady still in high school and a woman who's experienced 47 years of life. Faith having experienced life's ups and downs, good times and bad, will give her the edge. BUT listen to Danielle's voice and give her time to experience life in the real world and not the protected upbringing she's had. Let her experience heartbreak and she'll be as great or greater and it will affect her emotions when singing. It's only a matter of time. I for one just love listening to her sing, over and over and over knowing the best is yet to come. Let's enjoy the ride.
Actually, I compared an artist with another artist trying to cover their song. I voted for Danielle on The Voice, and as I said I love her voice. Yes, emotion can be from experience, but with many of the songs she sang on the show she blew me away, especially "Grandpa" by The Judd's. She has what it takes, I just didn't feel it with this song. My opinion of course!
I wont argue that Faith showed more emotion, I could not agree that Danielle showed no emotion. Its hard to cover anyone else's song, in my opinion Faith came up short on the emotions doing her cover of "piece of my heart" she was good but nowhere near the emotion that Janis Joplin sang it with. To each his or her own, people like different artists and different voices, otherwise we would all be listening to one singer.

I woke up at 4:00am and decided to pop in my headphones and take a peek at the new song! Boy am I glad I did. This is one of my all time favorite songs and our girl really did a wonderful job! I listened to it about 4 times until her beautiful voice lulled me back to sleep! I especially love the few moments that Justin smiled at himself. He seems to be as smitten with her voice as we are! For those that seem upset or confused over Danielle only recording in two settings... Danielle apears to have recorded at least 10 to 12 covers which made up the master list that became the 4 weekly choices. She appears to have recorded them is two days time which would be why there are only two settings. I am hopeful that all ten are released on Itunes and or a CD.
She actually had 7 weeks of covers she released, all on VEVO & You tube. All in Black and White. Don't have any idea how many total she recorded, but am also hopeful they are available to purchase. I hope she gained some new fans!
darrell mckinney Yes, we know these were released over 7 weeks, but what Daniel is talking about, is the fact that each week, Danielle had 4 song choices available on Pauwow for her fans to vote on, and she released the song with the most votes. The remaining 3 would be in the pool for voting over the remaining weeks. If you didn't check out the Pauwow voting, you have no idea what we're talking about. So, based on this, there were at least 10 songs that she recorded. And based on her Twitter message this morning, the remaining songs will be released over the next few weeks.

I love this girl to death but, this is the first one of these covers that I don't think is better than the original. Am I the only one? And it's nice to see someone else mention her wardrobe. I will buy these if they are ever available, they are GREAT.
I also think this is as good as and likely better than the original. This vid is more like a studio recording session than a performance, so that's a bit confusing. Others (Human) were more like performances. I'm good with either. I like that she's not rolling around in sheets. :)

I woke up at 4:00am and decided to pop in my headphones and take a peek at the new song! Boy am I glad I did. This is one of my all time favorite songs and our girl really did a wonderful job! I listened to it about 4 times until her beautiful voice lulled me back to sleep! I especially love the few moments that Justin smiled at himself. He seems to be as smitten with her voice as we are! When are we going to be able to buy these covers? I can't wait!

I watch those types of talent shows all the time, and she is the ONLY ONE for whom I've ever voted. I'm already REALLY EXCITED to hear what she sings next. Can hardly wait.

For those that seem upset or confused over Danielle only recording in two settings... Danielle apears to have recorded at least 10 to 12 covers which made up the master list that became the 4 weekly choices. She appears to have recorded them is two days time which would be why there are only two settings. I am hopeful that all ten are released on Itunes and or a CD.
She actually had 7 weeks of covers she released, all on VEVO & You tube. All in Black and White. Don't have any idea how many total she recorded, but am also hopeful they are available to purchase. I hope she gained some new fans!

Yes, we know these were released over 7 weeks, but what Daniel is talking about, is the fact that each week, Danielle had 4 song choices available on Pauwow for her fans to vote on, and she released the song with the most votes. The remaining 3 would be in the pool for voting over the remaining weeks. If you didn't check out the Pauwow voting, you have no idea what we're talking about. So, based on this, there were at least 10 songs that she recorded. And based on her Twitter message this morning, the remaining songs will be released over the next few weeks.
