Wow ....I have to say again ....she is not from this planet. It is not possible for someone her age with so little experience doing what she is doing everyday to be this good. She just takes a break from an exhausting schedule and drops by a studio in Nashville and lays down a few tracks and cuts a simple black and white video of a cover song and gets this kind of result. Such a true gift and thank goodness she is sharing it with all of us. Going to listen again for the 8th time and only been up for an hour.
Brent Davidson I'm in the same boat....can't stop listening. She looked tired and can kick out something so incredible is amazing. She is Truly a gift and we are really blessed to have her performing and working so hard for all of us. At 47 I have never been even remotely close to feeling like this or have done something like that for any artist let alone an 18 yr old girl. She has the best pure vocals note for note, man or woman I have ever heard. Period….

Danielle can sing the proverbial phone book. I've heard so many covers of this song and found most of the singers uninspiring. Danielle nailed this song and I love the country flavor and spin. Her vocal tone in this is simply beautiful. Aside from the perfect pitch, some of her arrangement and notes caught me off guard and were absolutely beautiful (Danielle specialty). This song should air on the radio and be available for purchase. A stunning performance.
I love how her guitar player is looking at her at 1:26.. He looks like he is in awe of Danielle's amazing talent!! I feel the same way every time I hear her sing.. she is such a talented singer.
Danielle is starting to interpret her music( any song she sings,as in this one) with the perfection of her voice and what she feels in her heart. From 1:06-1:44 her angelic tone shines through and brings tears to my eyes..Pure bliss listening to anything Danielle sings but she goes to another realm with "Say Something".
My opinion is she has taken a great song to a whole new level. This performance should appeal to all music lovers of all genres. Great "World Class" performance by Danielle and musicians. Better than original to me, but appreciate both.

Not to mention, her fan base might just explode ... especially if she covered the song live. My bet would be that she'd top, "Try" and "Roar". Not sure anyone else would have the lady balls to try it and succeed as well as Danielle could. I'd be willing to wager it would go viral too. She has my vote! Anyone agree?
Strongest, best voice in Country (or any) music since Martina McBride, Faith Hill, and Carrie Underwood. She can hang with the best of them; beautiful. I keep finding that I like her versions better than the "originals". I wonder why THESE VEVO covers are not available to purchase? Really?
i wasn't her biggest fan during the Voice, but after this, I am. The best stripped~down version I've ever heard of this song, and the slide resonator makes it totally unique.
