Unless officially made by Crowbar Collective, there'll never be a Black Mesa: Opposing Force. Blue Shift is only possible since it didn't feature any original content, unlike Opposing Force.
@@ethanbear360 Also wouldn't Greasey himself make a fuss if Opposing Force is remade? He's not the most mentally stable person in the industry, or the best to work with.
Unfortunately, I don't that's the case because the alarm Gordon triggers is just a fire alarm, not a meltdown mode panic button, and the guard at the desk in Blue Shift never radios Murtaugh. I think this was just a part of the facility that was malfunctioning.
I like the detail of the power source for the teleporter looking like an early version of what we see in Nova Prospekt’s rendition. Gives a nice consistency between old and new tech
This was right when Blue Streak came out... And Blue by Eifeel 65 just dropped. We eere just loving that blue aesthetic. Great video. Loved this game playing on the family computer back in the day!
The next Half Life Game (Made by Valve or Fans) need shadows and reflections. Just imagine one scene when you see your own shadow being latter eclipsed by a bigger one from something behind you.
Its strange that dr Rosenburg wanted to go to the lambda teleport when the old one is faster, smaller, safer, and doesn't seem to draw the attention of controllers
I played this a little a while ago. It's pretty amazing. Also I really like crawling around the facility maintenance tunnels and stuff while everything goes to shit. I can't explain it, I just really like roaming around urban setting when there's nobody there. It's just really moody. XD
Actually this franchise was a masterpiece having the view angle from all tree sides - Mr.Freeman, the military team sent to clean "anyone" and Barney the duty guard :D I can only imagine if they re-create the entire game franchise adding new effects using UE5
Next expansion remake Half Life: San Andreas Paradox. With gangsta scientist Carl "Mesa" Johnson after awakening from the defeat of earth on the Seven Hour War.
If this were to be DOOM......I be super into this game! Im just saying because of the graphics..... The levels themselves have that tonality if I piece it to the first doom. I just was like...... what if I watch it like if we're the first doom.
Why were the Black Mesa Scientists act like wimps who eventually never had self defense training..Sad to be casualties from The Resonance Cascade,Creatures Of Zen, HECU Marine Recon, Black Operations and the nuclear warhead (courtesy of The G Man..sneaky bastard)
I don't like this. It's slow and laggy with poor gameplay, and it takes about 10-12 shots to kill each zombie. I even set it on low settings to try to improve gameplay but it's the worst mod I've ever seen. Unnecessarily complex and long winded too. It too me an hour to figure out how to get the elevator to move. 2 out of 10
Can we download it ?
@ARAB Sid ahmed Hi! Of course. It's accesible via Steam (Black Mesa workshop). For details and download link see in the video's description.

Can't wait for Opposing Force remake! First Half Life now Blue Shift. It's awesome!
I don't know why the Black Mesa team can't just share assets and work with these OF and BS teams to get all expansions out a lot quicker.
They also doesn't won't to work with the Half life 2 VR mod team :/

@@ethanbear360Nah, there's always been black mesa: opposing force, i can feel someone will making it.
Small detail but the Glock reload is how military personnel would reload a sidearm. A good touch.
Well Barney has had significant firearms training given his career as a security guard for Black Mesa, so it would make sense.
8:30 the moment Barney Calhoun and Gordon Freeman cross paths, iconic.
Fun fact: if you noclip into his train by the time he’s supposed to wave at you, he’ll look all startled and shake his fist at you.
They actually made the Blue Shift story engaging. Man. And it looks great. Giving you characters to care about too.
Resonance cascade scene was too damn good! It is beautifull to see how they upgraded it.
Takes everything to the next level in detail and realism. I love all the little vignettes along the way.
10:47 Gordon enters the office and presses the alarm. :D amazing :))

A masterpiece. The story, clarity of gameplay, attention to detail (shadows, sun glare, etc.) AI of opposing forces. A true work of art. Bravo

Thank you. forgot that I had the game in my steam library. But now I'Ve just enjoyed the playthrough
Magnificent, gotta love the community for remaking these gems.

No wonder the start of The Resonance Cascade in Black Mesa Blue Shift was that Brutal & HD Than Gordon's Perspective.. 😮

Barney is a cool dude, like Gordon.
8:33 Hello! Gordon, Freeman.
Amazing graphics and all, but honestly Half Life (1998) has an unmatched atmosphere of loneliness and emptiness that no game could recreated till now

You should put a price tag on this once it will be finished. I paid for Half Life games, I paid for Black Mesa and I'm going to pay for it.

Now we need Opposing Force.
There's no problem that it's not an order but still
you get a dislike for saying you're a former half life fanboy. half life is endless, half-life is life.
The beginning feels a little long but its good as to be expected.

This is the gaming console created by valve I think
bnetter than the original game.
@Darassyl Moniakam Hm... I would say: It's more 'up-to-date' with the current standards like Black Mesa (vs. Half-Life).
@@Kvadrant indeed at the time the originals were state of the art games, love them both.
I kind of wish they made it look more like 1998
Doesnt show up in the Black mesa workshop for download. is there another location to download it?

Feels like Doom, just a different version of it.
This seems like a reimagining, as the levels do not correlate to the ones with the original blue shift map design and overall levels.
The tram ride drags on for a bit too long.
is this by crowbar collective?

In my mind, as i remembered it, the graphics of the original were better. Memories polishes things i guess. So many years.
What is better ?
not 4k*
To be continued??
@Сергей Теплов Yes, it's unfinished. ("Current available content: 4 chapters (From "Living Quarters Outbound" to "Captive Freight".) Edit: I fixed the thumbnail.
Let Half Life die. We can all agree it's an epic franchise, but the eternal remake chain isn't very dignified.
Its just a copy of the old original with more effects keke
bruhh did you even play the original or what i didnt recognize most of the area in blue shift remake. its no the same at all
Player is fantastic noob
Oof...such a bad expansion. Hopefully it will be funner than the original

Sounds like a skill issue
no, you just have a skill issue
Not to sound mean or anything but it sounds more like your terrible at the game
You sound like you’re slow
Just played through half so far and been running on 4k no issues at all. Think it might be a setting or possibly user error.
