    Doesn't the sun ever shine in Wuppertal? In every video of the Schwebebahn I've watched--and I've watched quite a few--the weather in Wuppertal is shown as either overcast or raining.

      Germany isn't a sunshine state - most parts can be compared to the Seattle region.

      @@bronxboy47 Always glad to help. Here is another hint from an insider: If you should ever visit the Sauerland region, which is not that far away from Wuppertal, don't forget your umbrella.

      @@Astrofrank Weather patterns in Germany may have changed since the late 1970s, but I spent two consecutive summers in Munich and I don't remember it being excessively overcast or raining much.

      @@bronxboy47 The very South of Germany has less rain and more sunshine than the rest, and Munich is close enough. But in general, Germany is not really blessed with sun. You can compare the maps in this video: ua-cam.com/video/fe3vxu9vxAQ/v-deo.html
      The three cities in the west are Düsseldorf, Cologne and Bonn, Wuppertal is a bit east of Düsseldorf, my home town a bit more east of Cologne, Munich is in the South-East ...
