ABOUT - Learn To Fly
Launch the penguin as far as you can, can you get all the upgrades? At first, it will be very hard, but you need to collect your first coins to buy upgrades. Then, you can slowly fly a longer distance, make more money, and buy all the upgrades. Prove that penguins can fly!

Fun fact Gray if it hasn't been mentioned before. You can actually wreck the moon if you have your penguin flying fast enough upon reaching the end. So you may want to play again even if just in your off time.

Yep, you can split the moon in haft.
I did it by all 4 max level shuttle reactors and the max level nuclear reactor.
i managed to do it with a max nuclear reactor and a max sonic drive. i did have a lot of the BR shop bought thou but still don't underestimate the sonic drives they are insane

HEY GRAY, If you get the "Base model" body up to a certain height, you can unlock the "Omega Penguin" Body model. Best one in the game.
Also, cheap strat, Dubstep Drive with lots of max speed boosts. Works wonders.
Kinda sad you skipped over Learn to Fly 2. But also get around to the Burrito Bison trilogy.
Also, you didn't reach the Moon. Or something else when you go LUDICROUS SPEED to the moon. You need to get that ending!
Also the game has a built in Sandbox mode where you can literally break the game! (We know how much you like that!)

Also I hope he does more of this, this game has a surprising amount and quality of postgame. I’m with as much stuff as there is, I feel like calling it “postgame” is a disservice - there’s several times the amount of content in the base game to be found after the first clear.

If gray only had any concept of the weight of the items vs. their max lift and the max speed of his vehicle and not boosting while already at a red speed he could have finished it so much faster and gotten to the harder game modes where you start unlocking crazy stuff and really breaking the game.
I mean this is gray we’re talking about.
200k? Rookie numbers!! 4mil is the max height for the story modes and the upgrades for this game are so insane you have only touched the very beginning of this game. Hope to see more of these videos gray! Keep up the good work!! Much love!

The principal thing Gray was doing wrong was not investing in the body for max speed increases as he was suffering a lot of drag for almost the entirety of his run.
For those wanting to play this (and a little tip for gray: get the shuttle maxed out, reactor maxed out, all sonic bursts maxed out and the f1 rocket boosts maxed out… this will break everything

just as a note gray. the pistol is the best launcher if you hit a red bullet as it can send you into the 200k+ even with over 200 weight on your ship if you level it high enough. i believe my max was 30 levels and i got about 800k in a single shot with some bonuses from the bonus shop.
Can we get Gray to play the paper airplane game simply called Flight? I feel like that is a game that Gray would like a little bit, or be completely board. Then again, he makes mobil games interesting, so, there's hope.
I so want to see Grays reaction to the story of Flight.

You're a bit heavy, so if you ever play this again, you can had a Booster called "Dark Matter" which, doesn't actually boost the penguin, but it lowers weight and with one fully upgraded, you can become really light and go up much faster.

You should play this again at least one more time! You didn’t technically win the game there, because you need to be going faster to reach orbit. Also, as others have mentioned, if you are going fast enough when you reach space, you actually blow up the moon.
the issue with all the "best" items is theyre incredibly heavy, so slow you down immensely. with the right upgrades and some of the unlockable items, mid level stuff results in much faster runs.
with some setups, a red shot on the roulette can get you to space near instantly.
Watching gray launching random space chickens to the moon is odd but yet so entertaining. 😁
Quick tip, Gray. The sonic blast one is the best stage you can get. If you fully upgraded it, you'd see what I meant.
I think GSP should keep playing this game, especially to go for the achievements and stuff because goddamn there is a lot of content in this game.

I never knew you could make it to space without upgrading your boosts and rockets. Frustrated me a little bit, but maybe he'll play again and actually upgrade stuff that isn't the just the body and launcher. His reaction to a fully upgraded sonic burst would be priceless

Payload mode, Classic mode, even a Sandbox mode to make all the distance and stats accumulated be nothing more than ROOKIE NUMBERS! Plus Cards to unlock new parts and items and then some!

Ah, I've played these penguin games so much when I was younger. Made the same mistake, too: when the rocket hits the red speed zone or even the end of the speedo it will not accelerate no matter the auxiliary rockets. So it is just a waste to use them when you have the "sound barrier effect" around the pinguin...
Unrelated random tidbit, I decided to defy the penguin gods and turn my space craft into a land vehicle the last time I played this

The Russian Roulette is the best starter, it's what speed runners use, and a max upgraded one can finish the game with literally no other upgrades (on a red bullet).
At least there is no leopard seal that will eat the penguin in the sky.
