The guitar shown was played through a Fender Deluxe Reverb from 1978 and recorded with a Shure SM57 (left) and a Sennheiser 409 (right) . The backing tracks were recorded into a Fame Twin Looper. A Line 6 DL-4 was used for additional loops. Overdrive Sounds come from a Vemuram Jan Ray. The Greer Amps Lightspeed was used as a booster, a Boss PS-6 for chorus-sounds and a Lehle 1023 as Volume Pedal.

What I learned: interesting, quite unusual sound of neck pickup, when strings plucked close to the bridge.
1974 was the first year that Fender used the flat pole piece pickups in Strats, so they sound a little bit "different' than ones that came before then.
Hypnotic, but far from robotic!
