How about the limitations on subcontracting by the SBA as a small business. It is illegal to subcontract all the work, the people performing the work have to be your own employees. Or how does that work?
I concern myself with things I can control.
They are 1099 employees and I thought that was for set asides

With the concert scenario you brought up yes you have a good start. The band has a road team. Sound and lighting staging is a house team usually. Security is normally contracted. Local law enforcement is normally in there ticking can be a house team or contractor my experience was house or the promoter responsibility. I know that I am missing a few things but when you go to consents you don’t think of things like that. Food and beverage is a contract normally I’d like to say it’s a house or promoter vetted contractor. So like a local bar for beverages and con sessions can be a house covered item. Depends on where you are and customs for that event. I formerly worked for a contractor doing the security side of things and on the side I worked for the house it was the state university doing staging jobs set up take down sometimes I would work for the road team and do what is called load in and out. Set up props required and provided by road crew. It was fun. Lots of hard work. Thanks so much for your support and explanation Ms parks. You are beautiful as well as smart.
