I wish I could shoot this camera and lens combo! Currently I am shooting the Nikon Z5 with the Nikkor 40mm f2 and a few Viltrox primes. The ZF or Z6 ii or Z7 II are at the top of my kit wish list! That said, something like the A9 III would make me a Sony fanboy for sure.
what i would like to know is do you have to use that sony flash to get the fast times to keep shooting and have no wait time to recycle since a9 can shoot 30-60-120 frames ...do using the sony flash let you do that ? cuz i own the a9iii but i use the fj400s for sports stuff and dont do much weddings or anything with smaller flashes
Hi taylor, when you got your flash mounted on the hotshoe and you wanna shoot in portrait orientation. Whats the best direction to point the flash head? Straight up and a little back? Or another line of thinking is shoot in landscape then crop in portrait orientation in post ? What do you think? Thanks

Can you show us examples of using a global shutter vs a ND filter? The shots here are mostly within the flash sync speed of my camera and I'm wondering if a global shutter would make more sense compared to using a ND filter on a camera with 1/200 sync speed. Of course, the ND filters are not going to be reducing so much and I have to change them or use a variable one depending on the sholot I want. But I would like to know until which point we can go by using a ND filter and 1/200 of a sync speed compared to a global shutter. Thank you!
With ND filters you’ll need more power on your flash. That’s the biggest issue I guess - more power = longer recycle time = battery drains quicker
