Having personally experienced winter in South Dakota many years ago, kudos to the fans and players for being at that game in an outdoor stadium! Great win by South Dakota State, and good luck to the Wascally Wabbits in the --Dakota-- National Championship game!
Can you tell me why Montana state is number 4 and South Dakota state is number 15 yet Montana state is playing at South Dakota state, shouldn't the higher ranking team be playing at home?
Feels like the FCS as a whole, have stepped up their game. These are just as, if not more exciting than watching FBS. Just smaller stadiums. The passing game has gone thru the roof and has made it all worth watching,
Now that the Jacks have punched a ticket to Frisco.... On one hand, NDSU has been undefeated in Frisco. That's not easy to do, especially 9 times from 2011 to 2021. But SDSU is the only team that can say they've beaten NDSU the last 3 times. The only catch is they have NEVER beaten the Bison in the postseason. I know it's easy to bet on the Bison, but I have a hard time betting on them against a solid Jacks team. NDSU had a hard time against UIW. My prediction?? SDSU 27 NDSU 21
NDSU was about to go up 28-7 on SDSU before throwing an INT in the enzone on a gadget play with their backup QB. After that they decided to coast and lost by 2. NDSU was dominating until that point. If NDSU can get some of their injured players back, it should be more interesting
@@wade5941 If the Jacks win, it wouldn't necessarily surprise me with Lal of our injuries and transfers, but for some reason, I think NDSU will dig deep and just get shit done
Montana State never did get a PAT. I don't understand for the life of me why they went for two when down 21. Take the one point, score three touchdowns, convert them, and you win.
My question is and I think its legitimate... How come the FCS figured out the playoff format but FBS D1 has not a clue how to make it work???? I've watched a few FCS playoff games and it just blows my mind how smooth it is and I think they do this with, like 24 teams I may be wrong but still.
FCS has a playoff format only because they dont have the necessary number of fans to support large bowl games. So they had to come up with this ridiculously large playoffs system.
@@Jj-gi2uv it's the same 3-4 teams in the championship every year, somethings not right, when the FBS goes to 8 teams in 2024 for the CFP, I don't even think they'll have the same 3-4 teams in the championship every year & the FCS playoffs does have byes, but only the top 8 teams get them
Everyone says the playoffs are good for fbs but look at the fcs. It’s the same two or three teams in the semifinals every year. And NDSU won what like 8 of the past 10 titles? Awful system for college football plain and simple.
So if the playoff format is not good enough for you and bowl games are not good enough for you then what do you propose to Crown a champion then genius?

FCS teams have transformed themselves over the years. Fun games to watch. These games used to be very run heavy.

Jackrabbits have no trouble running in the snow. --- Thanks for the extra uploads today, V.V. ---
Granowski has so much potential man
It's so cool how these northern teams are dominant in FCS football

I'm actually a Bison fan, but believe this is the Year of the Rabbit. Wouldn't bother me if the Jacks take it this year.

Well damn....I predicted NDSU would score 21. And I was right.
I was being conservative on SDSU, apparently.

They do a state census at these games since everyone in the state shows up.
SDS: Cool helmet logo.

Bowl games revenue
bruh even 24 teams is not enough to stop the same 3-4 teams from being in the championship EVERY YEAR!, I'm not saying the FCS is rigged, but c'mon!
Lol

When you have a winning program you keep getting better players that want to come to that college with the hope maybe they get to the next level.

If you can't beat the same teams every year then move down a division
