Thank you! But, I think it was just patience and gentle perseverance on my part. During the lockdowns, we had plenty of free time to idle in the backyard and watch the grass grow. When the birds arrived, they had all of our attention and patience.🥰😅

@@olib774 Thanks! 😊That's how we started too. We let them come to us and gently encouraged them by placing one piece of treats nearby while holding another in our hands. It worked most of the time. 👍🙂

I used to have a rainbow lorikeet , tamed him , had hardly any feathers , then he died when he was abot 5

Yes, you are right chips as well as bread and seeds are bad for them. That's why we only give them fruits or rolled oats. In this video, we gave them pieces of apple with the seeds removed.
