A master piece, no doubt abou it.
Hard to say, which of the two ... # 1, or #2 are my favourite. Both of them are equally beautiful. Both of the interpretations by Lazar Berman are superb ... and, I thank you for the listening-pleasure, my dear friend ! Big hugs from Karin, who has just returned from wonderful Austria. This LP recording was done somewhere in 1976 DG label. Lazar Berman is a Russian Jewish Orthodox legend...The 1975 historical recording with Karajan and Berlin philharmonic orchestra on Tchaikovsky's 1st piano concerto is excellent 👍 and perfectionist interpretation...I wonder if Berman is also related to his Yaweh Jehovah Jesus Judeo Christian moorings cultural integration of godly Judaism? Karajan has German Romantic Jesus Christus Church historical religious background culture theological philosophy...
