I never understand why people complain about "too" many people in kpop groups Like you don't have to learn them, you just watch their dance practice. It's OK when there are many dancers. Also when you listen to the music, you don't think about how many members here. And if you fall in love with them, you will learn them anyways, bc they are great

I used to be one of those people 😔 I would watch their videos casually but not get into them completely because of how many member they were. Took me literally a day of dedication to get to know everyone and now I can’t live without them. They are the most genuine and pure idols I have ever seen and the talent they have is unbelievable. If one member is missing it feels so lonely I can never imagine saying they are so many ever again

This is my point of view for svt choreo (if you dont agree with me, just go away and look for other comment. Many ppl underestimate svt and i will make clear of that) : Seventeen's dance is not focusing on how fast or strong the moves is, but the meaning and the story of the song, they visualizing it. That's why svt's performance can be considered as *art* and if you know the meaning of the song, you'll get more depth meaning about it. They make use of their number in their moves wisely and no one outshine the others. What makes svt choreo is so beautiful (based from dancer reaction) is their synchronization, transition, formation, dynamic. That's why *You cannot see their choreo as an individual, they dance in a WHOLE group not only INDIVIDUAL* and if you look carefully, they use much of sequences like timing. *People said that SVT choreos are easy, but it is NOT easy. It's just they executes it flawlessly until it looks like effortless* they're known for their difficulty in choreo such in survival show where almost every trainee wants to avoid their choreo. They contains maby jump and small details, and their moves is smooth af. It's harder to control your body to be smooth than moving fast and powerfully. This is too why you'll hard to find any svt cover. If you want to cover svt, make sure you have a big number of ppl, because it will be empty (and incomplete) if you just use a small amount of ppl it will lack of smtg What makes svt choreo is hard not only the synchronization, dynamic, transition, and level (not only synchronization okay) is their connection, it may be easy to learn from individual moves but the challenge isn't about the individual moves but how they combine their individual styles to move as a group. When they practice they even focusing about the angle and degree, they won't stop practicing until 3 times without any mistakes, they can learn their choreo in 24 hours, they make their own choreo, no dance hole in seventeen. I've known kpop since a long longgg time ago but never really attached and amazed by any groups. No matter how fast, sexy, hardcore, dark, powerful their choreo and i despise cute concepts for bg. But once i saw Ador U, omagoshh, ADORE U, THAT CHEERFUL CHILDISH CUTE ONE. And i can't stop to falling in love with them. I myself shocked too, and that's how i enter kpop entirely and be a part of a fandom

No one comes close to Seventeen in performing as a group. And that's just proven by numerous awards and recognition they earned for each performance they give. We can all argue that they both are immensely talented performers but when it comes down to overall performance quality, Seventeen is well rounded in all aspects and delivers an overall great experience taking into account the tiniest of details that complete a performance, while NCT focuses in delivering skill and precision matched with their personal brand and vibe.

SEVENTEEN is the only one for me~ They compose, choreograph and manage most of their work by themselves. I really have respect to groups like those. And one of Seventeen's member, DK, is going to be in a musical. Hearing about that makes me feel happy (because he is my bias-wrecker)

They keep making unnecessary/ignorant comments when they don’t know anything other than 2 little facts of a group. They shouldn’t keep jumping to conclusions and saying things like “considering they don’t have a choreographer” when seventeen’s whole performance unit choreographs their dances, and “this is why they shouldn’t tour in America cause they can’t fly out 13 people with staff” when seventeen literally tour worldwide so many times without a problem. Obviously this dude has never seen some of the members of Seventeen individually dance. Vernon, Dino, Jeonghan, Hoshi, Jun, Minghao, Woozi all superb individual dancers. Seventeen are the best at synchronicity as a group. All the members are good dancers. Plus when it comes to Hip Hop dancing Vernon is no joke!

He is a main vocal of svt and vocal unit but He asked himself to be part on that. Hip hop unit also really good. Just watch their individual fancam of their performance. They will give you kinda different feeling. It just feel different but as one they are incredible. Dont start with woozi and tge actual performance unit. It's gonna be a long night if I type this. You can can really that about almost every group. Compared to some other groups which do a completely different style every time, NCT has more similar concepts. I wouldn't say they're special for "not sticking to one concept". And I'm not hating on NCT. I think they're incredible, and i have full albums on my playlist and have watched many of their shows. But it's not a bad thing that they have similar concepts. It gives them a certain style.
Tirazi id kindly disagree with the “more similar concepts” statement. nct 127 is a hip hop based group but each song has a different story and sound to it. same with nct u and nct dream (not including wayv because so far we’ve only heard chinese versions of previous songs except for dream launch) like sure nct dream is a concept of their youth but it’s like watching them grow. from chewing gum to we go up they showcased the different phases of growing up. like them singing about chewing gum to rebelling. and nct u’s comeback is different every time, they don’t stick to a specific concept since it’s a rotational group. (but yo the 7th sense’s lyrics are honestly so deep like damn)

SVT also has amazing individual dancer, for me i love Hoshi, Jun & Woozi's dance skills the most. Pledis doesn't really show their individual skills that much as SM.
Seventeen is crazy talented!! NCT 127 is really good at their concept though and they’re very cool and they’re SM so I automatically love lol but I think SVT will always have my heart.

Seventeen is a bit better when it comes to dancing as a whole group ( Nct is not far behind) but that person was right, Nct has amazing individual dancers like Ten (one of the best dancers in kpop right now), Jisung, Taeyong, Winwin, Yuta etc etc. i'm not saying Seventeen doesn't, because they do as well but for nct, it's more showcased. Also, since when has nct always had the same concept? Are firetruck, limitless, cherry bomb, touch, regular, simon says etc. the same concept? And don't get me wrong, i really like Regular choreography but there are far better ones from nct, such as black on black, firetruck, cherry bomb etc. EDIT: I agree that nct can dance amazingly as a group and that they have a difficult choreography, never said otherwise. But I checked out Seventeen's getting closer dance practice and i was blown away by their synchronization. Overall i think it's just stupid to compare the two groups. Both have different dances and dancers. Seventeen and nct are both one of the best dancing groups in kpop anyway.

NCT is the hardest one but seventeen also killed me with a unique choreography. *both are amazing!* I just fell on them a month ago :') before i only noticed nct, but now seventeen also took over my attention 🙈
NCT has different concept from other kpop groups especially when they first came out. 7th sense was really different from anything SM produced before and thank goodness the boys managed to pull off being 'different'. However SVT does have the title of self producing idols because the members write, produce and choreograph their songs. However, in terms of wackiness, SVT wins hands down (watch their diss rap battle). I think NCT is concious that they have to maintain SM's reputation vs SVT being the main income generator of Pledis. Can't deny that both groups are over flowing with talent so it's exciting to see what they will contribute to kpop.

Seventeen's dance has always been about group dynamic and as a whole rather than individuality. That's just their strength. Because I think doing that keeps the dance more compact than messy because of the kind of songs they produce and the number of members. Their choreo's have always been made for stages and performances on stage and how to adjust that depending on the necessity. And they have never stayed in one single concept. That's just how they are. The togetherness have always been their strong point.

I am a huge fan of nct and both groups are really good at their dance choreography. But I must say that seventeen are more synchronised (nct arent that far behind at all),however, NCT gives us a wide diverse range of formation and concepts with a very distinct sound, yet pulling them off so effortlessly. both groups go HARDDD

Personally, Seventeen has just as capable dancers individually than NCT. Seventeen mainly focuses as a group than individually. Individuality is what NCT focuses on more...Which sadly is also one bad thing I dislike with NCT since certain members take all the spotlight and everyone else is left in the sidelines when they are just as capable.

Also, when they debut and has more members with amazing dancing skills.. but svt is already known for syncronization and self-composing group in the industry (and maybe a stronger point bcs svt unexpectedly comes from Pledis) So maybe some people always expected more and more something new from them especially they comes from SM.. and what makes it a bit worse is sometime SM gives more spotlight to a certain member (idk if it is deliberate or not) eventhough they have a strong potential as a group.. Where SVT has no member overshadowing each other, like if people watch them together especially in performance, they will be like pointing their talent as a whole group not individual.. Members like Winwin (who is one of the most graceful dancers in the industry, in my opinion) are just treated like backup dancers that are occasionally used for a “wow” moment when they do a martial arts move (Firetruck). It’s so unfair, because they have so much more talent to be used.

when both NCT & SVT are my kids then my main bias in NCT127 is Yuta and my main bias in SVT is Wonwoo, and both of them become the tumbnail i had a beautiful & hard time at the same time

Like you don't have to learn them, you just watch their dance practice. It's OK when there are many dancers. Also when you listen to the music, you don't think about how many members here. And if you fall in love with them, you will learn them anyways, bc they are great

I used to be one of those people 😔 I would watch their videos casually but not get into them completely because of how many member they were. Took me literally a day of dedication to get to know everyone and now I can’t live without them. They are the most genuine and pure idols I have ever seen and the talent they have is unbelievable. This is my point of view for svt choreo (if you dont agree with me, just go away and look for other comment. Many ppl underestimate svt and i will make clear of that) :
Seventeen's dance is not focusing on how fast or strong the moves is, but the meaning and the story of the song, they visualizing it. That's why svt's performance can be considered as *art* and if you know the meaning of the song, you'll get more depth meaning about it. They make use of their number in their moves wisely and no one outshine the others. What makes svt choreo is so beautiful (based from dancer reaction) is their synchronization, transition, formation, dynamic. That's why *You cannot see their choreo as an individual, they dance in a WHOLE group not only INDIVIDUAL* and if you look carefully, they use much of sequences like timing.
*People said that SVT choreos are easy, but it is NOT easy. It's just they executes it flawlessly until it looks like effortless* they're known for their difficulty in choreo such in survival show where almost every trainee wants to avoid their choreo. They contains maby jump and small details, and their moves is smooth af. It's harder to control your body to be smooth than moving fast and powerfully. This is too why you'll hard to find any svt cover. If you want to cover svt, make sure you have a big number of ppl, because it will be empty (and incomplete) if you just use a small amount of ppl it will lack of smtg
What makes svt choreo is hard not only the synchronization, dynamic, transition, and level (not only synchronization okay) is their connection, it may be easy to learn from individual moves but the challenge isn't about the individual moves but how they combine their individual styles to move as a group. When they practice they even focusing about the angle and degree, they won't stop practicing until 3 times without any mistakes, they can learn their choreo in 24 hours, they make their own choreo, no dance hole in seventeen.
I've known kpop since a long longgg time ago but never really attached and amazed by any groups. No matter how fast, sexy, hardcore, dark, powerful their choreo and i despise cute concepts for bg. But once i saw Ador U, omagoshh, ADORE U, THAT CHEERFUL CHILDISH CUTE ONE. And i can't stop to falling in love with them. I myself shocked too, and that's how i enter kpop entirely and be a part of a fandom

No one comes close to Seventeen in performing as a group. And that's just proven by numerous awards and recognition they earned for each performance they give. We can all argue that they both are immensely talented performers but when it comes down to overall performance quality, Seventeen is well rounded in all aspects and delivers an overall great experience taking into account the tiniest of details that complete a performance, while NCT focuses in delivering skill and precision matched with their personal brand and vibe.
seventeen are just so good, words can't describe how mesmerising they are, like i just can't. their family bond also portrays their emotions in their performances so well!

Obviously this dude has never seen some of the members of Seventeen individually dance. Vernon, Dino, Jeonghan, Hoshi, Jun, Minghao, Woozi all superb individual dancers. Seventeen are the best at synchronicity as a group. All the members are good dancers. Plus when it comes to Hip Hop dancing Vernon is no joke!

And if anyone seem sk freestyle dance they will know that even the individual members are really good at dancing. Dk was a part of aerobic performance at isac along with perfomance member. He is a main vocal of svt and vocal unit but He asked himself to be part on that. Hip hop unit also really good. Just watch their individual fancam of their performance. They will give you kinda different feeling. It just feel different but as one they are incredible. Dont start with woozi and tge actual performance unit. It's gonna be a long night if I type this. You can can really that about almost every group. Compared to some other groups which do a completely different style every time, NCT has more similar concepts. I wouldn't say they're special for "not sticking to one concept". And I'm not hating on NCT. I think they're incredible, and i have full albums on my playlist and have watched many of their shows. Seventeen is a bit better when it comes to dancing as a whole group ( Nct is not far behind) but that person was right, Nct has amazing individual dancers like Ten (one of the best dancers in kpop right now), Jisung, Taeyong, Winwin, Yuta etc etc. i'm not saying Seventeen doesn't, because they do as well but for nct, it's more showcased. Also, since when has nct always had the same concept? Are firetruck, limitless, cherry bomb, touch, regular, simon says etc. the same concept? And don't get me wrong, i really like Regular choreography but there are far better ones from nct, such as black on black, firetruck, cherry bomb etc.
EDIT: I agree that nct can dance amazingly as a group and that they have a difficult choreography, never said otherwise. But I checked out Seventeen's getting closer dance practice and i was blown away by their synchronization. Overall i think it's just stupid to compare the two groups. Both have different dances and dancers. Seventeen and nct are both one of the best dancing groups in kpop anyway.

NCT has different concept from other kpop groups especially when they first came out. 7th sense was really different from anything SM produced before and thank goodness the boys managed to pull off being 'different'. However SVT does have the title of self producing idols because the members write, produce and choreograph their songs. However, in terms of wackiness, SVT wins hands down (watch their diss rap battle). I think NCT is concious that they have to maintain SM's reputation vs SVT being the main income generator of Pledis.
Can't deny that both groups are over flowing with talent so it's exciting to see what they will contribute to kpop.

Seventeen's dance has always been about group dynamic and as a whole rather than individuality. That's just their strength. Because I think doing that keeps the dance more compact than messy because of the kind of songs they produce and the number of members. Their choreo's have always been made for stages and performances on stage and how to adjust that depending on the necessity. And they have never stayed in one single concept. That's just how they are. The togetherness have always been their strong point.

nct 127 definitely focuses more on vibe and swag when dancing, and seventeen focuses on being in sync and sharp. It's all style and are both amazing!

I am a huge fan of nct and both groups are really good at their dance choreography. But I must say that seventeen are more synchronised (nct arent that far behind at all),however, NCT gives us a wide diverse range of formation and concepts with a very distinct sound, yet pulling them off so effortlessly. both groups go HARDDD

SVT have balance and their dances allow all their members spotlight and their units actually showcase each and every member.They also have solo songs for each. Unlike NCT that many of their members look like back up dancers most of their career.

Personally, Seventeen has just as capable dancers individually than NCT. Seventeen mainly focuses as a group than individually. Individuality is what NCT focuses on more...Which sadly is also one bad thing I dislike with NCT since certain members take all the spotlight and everyone else is left in the sidelines when they are just as capable.

There is always ups and downs, more and less in every group..
Nct is talented, its just bcs of SM's reputation that put them in such a hard position..
I mean, they had a good quality music by the best composer in SM (no wonder), but when they put a hip hop/dark concept, well nothing is wrong it is all perfect obviously.. but more people already stick to bts's style and try to compare then..
Also, when they debut and has more members with amazing dancing skills.. but svt is already known for syncronization and self-composing group in the industry (and maybe a stronger point bcs svt unexpectedly comes from Pledis)
So maybe some people always expected more and more something new from them especially they comes from SM.. and what makes it a bit worse is sometime SM gives more spotlight to a certain member (idk if it is deliberate or not) eventhough they have a strong potential as a group..
Where SVT has no member overshadowing each other, like if people watch them together especially in performance, they will be like pointing their talent as a whole group not individual..
It is a hard position for NCT when they have to rise up their name as a group..
But again.. both svt and nct are all talented, its juat about ur taste in music and hard battle in this industry..

Members like Winwin (who is one of the most graceful dancers in the industry, in my opinion) are just treated like backup dancers that are occasionally used for a “wow” moment when they do a martial arts move (Firetruck). It’s so unfair, because they have so much more talent to be used.
Just like how shitty Pledis manage SVT. Literally 5-10 words for Jun in every SVT songs. I must say most handsome in Performance team yet always in the back at their choreography. To be honest it's so frustating to be Jun bias.

But 17 and Super Junior, they are so freaking good at boosting audiences hype. They know how to talk and interac, their energy and power until the end was the most memorable thing for me. They deserve to be encore groups, no one can do it better!

NCT's dance is definitely different from SVT's. I'm NCTZEN, but when I watch the choreography, I think it's SVT that makes me feel more comfortable.
