Didn't expect this! This is one of their biggest songs but their album Primrose Path has even better songs imo, emotional masterpieces especially with the singles! Also White Lies does have a few versions (one of which is acoustic and one is piano I believe)

They are indeed from Wales as mentioned by a few people here and this song, as well as a lot of their current discography, is about CJ (the singer) and her battle with drug addiction and the affect its had on her life and her family. Really powerful stuff when you get into it.

you should check out Sumo Cyco, really fun band. fronted by former pop singer Skye Sweetnam. saw them opening for jinjer and was quite surprised, especially since i had only heard of skye back in 2003. i recommend bystander and if you like that then bad news(i think you'll like the drummer in this one, fun song)
You should check out Blurred Around The Edges by Capstan. Their lyrics are raw and emotional and they're just super talented all around. Also, Dance Gavin Dance's live guitarist, Andrew Wells, is the vocalist of a band called Eidola and they just put out 3 new songs. Just saying. 😉
