Luke Radley just did on my new tv. Looks awesome! I’ve never had a dual suspension bike before just hard tails. Me and my family go riding on trails similar to what I could see in this video. Don’t know what to look for in a dual. We ride from the house to the trail about 10 miles away. How does this thing handle riding on the side of the road? Does it bob up and down when you pedal a lot? I’m looking to upgrade from my 2019 Marlin 7
@@michaelrowe5896 It's a 130mm travel bike with modern geometry meaning it's going to climb like an xc bike and decend like a trail bike. it's as close to a do it all bike for similar trails to these, hope this helps!

@@tim__drozd They’re both great bikes. Superb all-rounders. I like the Carbon frame, rear triangle and wheels on the Advanced Pro 29er 1, and the geometry is not far off from the 2021 bike.

Looks amazing. Giant has always been an underrated bike to me. I've built up my XTC and will never sell it it's a 2013 and amazing still. It would be hard to decide between this Trance and a Pivot Mach 429 for me. Have to try them head to head. Cool video, cheers!

Dude...!! I could feel your stoke and i have been seeing your stuff for a while now and i can tell when your just mildly entertaining, BUT this was really cool to watch!!! I’ve been fighting with myself on selling my trance sx for the reign.. which dont get me wrong i love my 2018 Reign SX but the coil is so strong i only use maybe half of my rear travel, so this really makes me see that (Justin’s by your initial reactions and the fact your even considering selling your Reign for one makes is pretty clear as day.. I just need to try one now, and could almost see myself throwing a 140 or 150 Fox 36 on this new Trance 29 and being happy for many years to come!! Huge cheers man, I’ll be happy to subscribe now that I feel like I can relate more as far as bike categories go for Giant Bikes! You Got me Stoked!
Funny thing is it’s almost impossible to find another coil & or find any kind of coil pound to weight ratio’s to dial in the right coil for my weight.. I’d have to try a few different spring rates to get the right one and no bike shop I know has other springs for me to try.. I’d have to order one and hope it works! Anyhow thats not really the only reason I want to sell it, it’s a big bike to climb around on all the time and I thought It would make me a stronger faster rider, but truth is I only Rarely use the bike to its fullest potential even at the Northstar Enduro at Tahoe this year.. I love the Bike but think that Geo has come a long way & think the Trance 29 could be an undercover ripper with a 150 fox 36.. just daydreaming tho, maybe I’ll sell the road bike and keep the Reign SX & build up a Trance 29 to have the perfect balance..

Did a little testride on an L sized frame few days ago but wasn't sure about my size ( 1,80) compared to the bike's. On a foto it locked to small, but when I sat on it it felt okay. @@AdventuresWithLukeVlogs I'm 180cm and I went with a medium. I was going to get a large, but my bike shop talked me into a medium saying it would be easier to maneuver. Shop owner was 100% sure I was a medium. Swapped out the 40mm stem for a 50mm stem and the fit feels pretty good. Wish I could have demoed both, but unfortunately I had to order the bike. Hopefully I made the right choice!
Hey Luke! So I'm trying to decide between the 2019 Anthem Advanced Pro 1 and the 2019 Trance Advanced Pro 1 - what are your thoughts? I don't race a ton but I like a bike that is fast and nimble with cornering but still does well in the rough stuff & descents...I have a 2018 Anthem Advanced 1 27.5 (same one you have only in a medium) which I love (other then the small cockpit) and my buddy has the 29er version and quite a bit faster then me over the rough sections and I'm convinced its the 29" wheels that give him the edge. I ride mainly single-track on dirt/sand trails and some amazing Canadian shield rock trails. Is this cockpit a bit bigger - I'm just curious how it fits compared to your Anthem? Love to hear your thoughts bro!
My anthem was definitely more XC than this new trance 29, my honest opinion is that this bike will be perfect, it's right in the middle and perfect for xc and enduro. I'd go the trance 29 for sure

Luke... Mate, look up "How to mix and edit sound", so that viewers won't experience bleeding from their ears. After that earsplitting intro, volume goes down and it's pretty hard hearing what you're saying.

I bought one from Graeme Seers Cycles Port Macquarie end of 19 to replace my 13 Anthem and holly shit what a difference, this bike rips !
I would love if Giant updated the 27.5 Anthem and gave it the same seat and head angle as the new Trance.

I would like to know that too. I am 180cm (5'9") with 87cm (34") inside leg. I don't know if M or L would be the right size.
For future reference, 180cm is 5'11". 5.9 is not 5'9". You are 175.5. Common mistake.

usually 180cm would be a medium, i'd say if you're over 190cm go an XL!

Check the Devinci Django 29 out, that's what I bought. I thought it felt more nimble than the Trance 29, that's why I bought it.

I’m 190cm, and yeah different, the anthem was an XL and this was just a large, overall I did enjoy this more and it felt easier to throw around
