That is EXACTLY how i start my channel in Pro Tools. I usually (depending) on the files I receive if Im not recording, I start with De Esser, Compression or Rennesance Vox, Waves Vocal Rider and Waves Noise Gate to close out the vocal. This has been a super sweet chain for me and maybe I might use Fresh Air on a bus with Reverb to close out the chain if I want to use it on multiple channels. Great quick vid family! Blessings!
@@PULSEMusicGroup Theziz! Nice vocal chain. Every track I mix, I use different plugins but I usually start with a de-easer then subtractive eq, stacked compression and then additive eq. After that, multi-band compression and I end it with a little touch of de-essing again. Other advanced mixing techniques with aux track, here and there but I do what I can to give it excellent quality. Hope you’re doing well, brother.
Am still using my waves Re-De 🎤 input recording set to bandpass plus threshold adjustment it sounds unique...experience in the game is what matters....gonna purchase the Ai and give it a try tho
@@dsog-music-tv1820 I couldn’t have said it better. Experience is key. If you want to try the vocal de-esser, go for it, you might like it. I still use the De-Esser plug-in by Waves on most of my mixes.
#HappyThursday! New plugin! 🚨 What do you guys think?
