and even when the chair of Peter (Acts 5v15 or how the person of Peter and even his shadow is important) is linked to his bed of stone on which is the Basilica in his name (given by Jesus himself I remind you) in Rome and that his bed of Peter is linked to the new testament (Revelation 21v14), they will continue to fight against this institution established by God 3x Saint! The best thing about being a catholic is knowing you are a part of the true and original church Jesus built upon Peter and having access to the full apostolic deposit of faith.
All glory to God. Cameron's special gift is he can explain the most complicated thing and anyone will understand. I think this is the newest breakthrough in Catholic apologetics. So glad to have found his channel.
BTW, In Paul- Peter confrontation we read only the perspective of Paul. Peter didn't write his point of view. We can read throughout the Acts Paul's and Peters methods are different. Peter always try to avoid confrontation, but Paul invites confrontation and is stubborn with people. He doesn't want to compromise. We can see Paul refuses to take Mark back in Acts 15:38. Barnabas wanted to give a second chance to Mark, but Paul says no. And as a result he separates from Barnabas. I sometimes think what would Jesus do here? Won't he give a second chance to Mark? Peter on the other hand tries to avoid conflict. He happily eats with gentiles, but when some Jews comes from Jerusalem he avoid sitting with gentiles. Its less than ideal behavior, but I think he was trying to avoid a confrontation. These Jews are probably very orthodox since they are coming from Jerusalem and might confront Peter when eating with gentiles. Peter knows this can be insulting for the fellow brethren, so he thinks the Jews need to be educated and it takes time. Paul on the other hand would way - "You don't like what I'm doing? You can leave." Like he did with Barnabas.

Jesus Christ gave Peter the keys 🔑 (authority) over the other apostles. The Synoptic Gospels agree that Peter served as spokesman, the outstanding member of the group, and enjoyed a certain precedence over the other disciples. For example: - whenever the disciples not belonging to the immediate followers of Jesus also recognized the authority of Peter (Mt 17:24); - Sought clarification from Jesus on behalf of the disciples (Mt 15:15); - Peter is mentioned by name, while others are indicated as merely accompanying him (Mk 1:36; Luke 8:35); - Even when the three disciples closest to Jesus, (“the pillars” - Peter, James and John) figure in a particular incident, it is frequently Peter alone who is named when the three are named, Peter’s name appears first (Mt 17:1, 26:37); - Peter was charged by Jesus affecting the strengthening of others (Luke 22:31,32); - The fact that Peter is emphasized in John and charged by Jesus to “tend my sheep” and “feed my lambs” at the same time The role of the disciples as a whole, is being de-emphasized attests to the prestige of Peter in the apostolic church (John 21:15,16). IT WAS PETER WHO: - Confessed the Sonship of Jesus (Mt 16:16); - was commissioned to lend strength to his brothers ((Luke 22:32); - on the morning of the resurrection, ran to the tomb, that the resurrected Christ first appeared (Luke 24:12); - whose priority as a witness to the resurrection, is found in the letters of Paul (1 Cor 15:5); - presided over the appointment of Matthias as an apostle (Acts 1:23-26); - first, raised his voice and preached at Pentecost the day, when the church came into being (Acts 1:14-39); - exercise the role of judge in the disciplining of those who erred within the church (Acts 5:1-10); - Let the 12 apostles in extending the church “here and there among them all” ((Acts 9:32); - walked on water towards Jesus (Mt 14:28-33); - witnessed, and spoke at the transfiguration of Jesus (Mt 17:1-8 & 2 Peter 1:16-18); - at the garden of Gethsemane (Mt:26:37). JESUS SAID TO PETER: 1. Blessed are you, Simon, son of Jonah (Mt 16:17-19); 2. for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Heavenly Father 3. and so, I say to you, you are Peter 4. and upon this rock, I will build my church; 5. and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it; 6. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven; 7. whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven; 8. Tend my sheep, and feed my lambs (John 21:15 & 16).
If Peter was the first Pope, and given to the Jews for the Gospel, why didn't Peter stay in his seat in Jerusalem, instead of Bishop James? If Peter was the first Pope, why did the Apostle Paul assume authority by withstanding Peter to his face? If only Peter was given the keys of the Kingdom, to loose and to bind, why did Jesus teach ALL of His disciples, in the Gospel of Matthew 18:18, about loosing and binding? If Peter was the first given the office of Pope, why did God give the early church only the five-fold ministry (offices)? In the Old Testament, God was referred to as the Rock twenty-nine (29) times; in the New Testament, Jesus was referred to as the Rock eight (8) times. Only one (1) time was Peter referred to as rock. The fact is, Peter was a rock hewn out of the Greater Rock. In 1 Peter, Peter clearly shows that the word 'rock' snd 'stones" are used interchangeably. Peter was the senior Apostle, but that is it
Everybody's Bible came from the Latin Vulgate which was originally from the Hebrew book I believe is called the tamuk I could be wrong. But anyway everybody has a catholic Bible even if there's only 66 in theirs. 73 in ours and 80 something in the Ethiopian Bible. The Ethiopian Bible explains the books different. Very interesting.
HOWEVER! Having 73 books - 100% of scripture - helps to reveal just how biblical the Church is. The key to dividing Christ is to rend asunder the Holy bible.

Wherever Peter go is his seat. Jesus didn't say I appoint you as the bishop of Jerusalem. He gave that authority to the person called Simon Peter. There is no "If Peter is the first pope", he is. There is no "If only Peter was given the keys ", only he was given. Scripture is clear. Read Isiah 22:22 to know what Jesus is talking about. You cannot undo what Jesus did by your silly questions.
If you are a Catholic, what is your favorite thing about being Catholic? :)
My favorite thing about being a Catholic is finding a Catholic channel like this, constantly understand and be reminded of my beliefs as a Catholic.
The Holy Eucharist. Real body of Christ.🤍
The Mass. I love praying the Mass with the faithful. It is a glorious honor and privilege to pray the Mass.
