Loved Cleopatra biography. I am wondering if there are any other biographical account of cleopatra? You reminded me of Sophia and I need to get to it soon. Thanks Steve. I ‘d prefer to complete biography shelf. Thanks for the shelf tour!
Funny, I considered Vita Sackville-West as a poet - thanks to Virginia Woolf's Orlando! I wrote a poor essay on the subject. If I remember right, it was her poem The Land which was briefly featured in and retitled The Oak, the work in which Orlando poured his/her heart and which was put to rest next to her beloved oak tree at the end. There this little acorn, this work of a female writer might grow to become as glorious and live as long as the real oak, the tree on which England's glory was once built.
Yes! There's an e-normous one by Herbert Lottman that I really liked. But keep in mind, I really liked it as a reading experience only - I don't know enough about either Camus' life or his work to know if Lottman's book is actually good on either ...
I'd be interested in finishing the biography shelves before moving onto other topics.
Awesome shelf! I'd like to finish off biographies before moving on.
More than happy to continue on with biography! (But still hoping for a tour of the books about books/writing shelf in the penguin room!)
I love your library tours. You can make as many as you want. I’ll be here watching.
Your love for these in infectious! I could watch a million Steve biography library tours.

Do you know a Camus biography that is worth reading Steve?
