The Severn Valley Fleet Come Out To Play ! 4930 - 7714 - 75069 - 13268

In this video, we feature summer steam action from the Severn Valley Railway on the second weekend of their Step Back To The 40's event. The event would see a stacked timetable with four locomotives in steam. The Great British Summer is well into its stride , so sunshine and showers were the backdrop for this video. All locos performed well, with the STD 4 putting on a fine show, along with Hagley Hall on the supreme Great Western set.

I'd like to apologise for the lack of the videos on our channel. Throughout the summer I tend to ease back and pursuit other interests and also the mainline scene is currently hampered with a lack of decent options. Only Vintage Trains and a handful of Saphos Trains excursions have been worth seeing. Also, there has been a recent amber fire steam risk due to recent dry weather, though it has hardly been dry recently. Even so, that means the diesel has to kick in more than it should, and that's not appealing for us.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video.

Excellent video, ahh! Gave the nostalgia of 1940s Second World War. That time was really crucial for British Railways.😊😊 Good shot of all the locos.
