It is famous for its 600-year old tradition of mouth-watering non-vegetarian delicacies. It’s a lane that has traditionally housed bhatiyars-cooks who prepare meals for large events.

But overall, there are more vegetarians in Gujarat than non-vegetarians. Also, Saurashtra (Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Jamnagar, etc.) as a region is far more vegetarian than mainland Gujarat (Ahmedabad, Vadodara), due to a higher concentration of Jains, Vaishnav Baniyas, Lohanas, and a relatively smaller Muslim population.

In ahmedabad you can eat meat chicken without any doubt in mind there less chance of mixing beef with chicken mutton in same shop or in time of cook but in lucknow nd delhi be careful and only eat where there is no buffalo meat or only chicken mutton.....

I thought Hindi was or is a national language of India and all Indians should at least learn the basic hindi so that they can communicate (at least verbally), and that basic hindi should have been taught as a part of your early and/or mid school days.
